If you liked Russell Brand as Aldous Snow in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, you'll probably love him here.
And hey, there's an Infant Sorrow album now on iTunes! "Inside yoooooou...inside yoooooou...."

Roger Ebert gave it a good review, but in the commercial, Elisabeth Moss's character's line, "we have a bottle of rosé in the fridge, party with me!" gives me bad vibes. Is the movie really about a dork learning to live! live! live! </Auntie Mame> despite the weight of a lame girlfriend?

I wouldn't say so chonies (though it would be hard to elaborate without spoilers). I saw it last night and enjoyed it. I'm not always nuts about Russell Brand and was afraid this would be overkill, but he was funny. P. Diddy gave the breakout performance of the movie, which I wasn't expecting at all. I didn't think this was as funny as FSM, but it was decent. (Oh, and I totally downloaded the Infant Sorrow album....)

Saw it and enjoyed it, and agree with Diddy being fantastic in it. Jonah Hill I can take or leave; he could have been swapped out for any number of actors. But I do like Russell Brand and thought he was great. Good times.

This looks really funny. I'm not a fan of Hill or Puffy, but I can't wait to see it.

I can't stand Jonah Hill, so this is a must miss for me.

Though it shames me to admit it, P. Diddy was by far the best part of the movie. Hill was pretty bad and he looked awful. Seriously, Hollywood would never let a movie be headlined by an ugly woman, but apparently it is ok for Hill to headline movies. I'd understand if was talented, but he's just not at all.

A couple of reviews I've read pointed out how unhealthy Jonah Hill looks. I saw "Superbad" on cable last night and was shocked at how he's declined. He wasn't the picture of health a few years ago, but in the GHTTG ads, Hill looks like he'll suffer cardiac arrest before age 30. And no, it's not just that he's fat. He looks sweaty and bloated. You have to figure that the filmmakers are trying to make him look better than he does in real life, so wow, he's in terrible shape.

I liked it. It was funny and a good entertaining summer movie. Russell Brand was awesome. I don't know if he's a great actor, but he's quite convincing as a drug addled madcap rock star.
The subpolts in the movie are kinda pointless though. The movie works best when it's Jonah and Russell.
And Jonah Hill does look terrible ! I usually think he's kind of a cutie in his chubby way but he flat out looked repulsive in this movie !

Jonah Hill = way uglier and less charming Seth Rogan.
