That sounds like something that someone suffering from dementia would do. It's obvious that something is wrong with her mental faculties. If no one had conservatorship, she'd be wandering the streets and getting into trouble with the law like Maia Campbell.

Yeah, reading about all these incidents, she doesn't sound quite right in the head.

Whether she's intellectually slow, mentally ill, or both, she's not there entirely.
Brit's fansites are speculating that she's going to release an album this fall. If the same teams that put together Blackout and Circus are behind it, I'll probably buy it. I really enjoyed those last two CDs.

The whole Letter of Truth/K-Fed wedding/cheetos-cooter-shorts-trucker-hat was truly a magical time. I remember all of us who were at Fametracker at the time completely transfixed at what was happening. I remember waiting with baited breath to see the My Prerogative video. It was a time of bonding, y'all.

The piece de restistance of Britney's meltdown was definitely three-fold:
1) the quickie marriage to K-Fed with Pimps and Maids track suits, chicken fingers for dinner, and dancing their first dance as a married couple to Journey on a boombox;
2) the headshaving and umbrella-car window smashing that ensued shortly thereafter;
3) Locking herself in the closet with Jayden, then being carried off on a stretcher to the looney bin with a twenty car police escort.
eta does any other celebrity have as many publicly scandalicious trainwreck moments as Britney? I think Brit-Brit takes the cake. There were so many great moments to choose from: the kiss with Madonna, the reality show with K-Fed, the letter of truth, the quickie marriage in Vegas, the Justin breakup drama, the late night trips to Rite-Aid waering that pink wig, the whole Sam and Allie era, her 2007 VMA performance, that horrible picture of her crying big ugly tears with her makeup stained and feather earrings, the barefoot gas station restroom breaks...etc etc etc

Britney strapped to a stretcher, smiling for the paps... that's hard to forget.

Those were some good times on Fametracker. Remember the photos of the "Spear's" (that's for Lynne) clan leaving the wedding? Lynne was livid. Someone on FT posted about the "McGyver gift bags" that contained completely random crap like Gap jeans, shoelaces, and gum.
Then remember when K-Fed got a pit bull? And a shark tank? Or maybe he just wanted the shark tank. The two of them were a comedy gold mine.

does any other celebrity have as many publicly scandalicious trainwreck moments as Britney? In the U.S., hmmm. Probably not. But Amy Winehouse is definitely on Britney's level. She's just... yikes. They should totally hang. Though I would imagine Lindsay would be a better partner in crime for Amy.
