That beat down was brutal. What is going to happen to Clay!? I don't believe they will kill him off just yet. The show has been renewed for another season already if not two. But they have pushed him past the point of retribution. He has to have something big coming to him. I didn't see the preview for next week. I am hoping the club becomes aware of both Piney's murder and Gemma's beating. Someone has to put two and two together soon. And yeah, poor Tara.
On a shallow note ever since someone pointed out to me that Jax walks weird that's all I notice now. He does this odd side to side kinda thing.

bronze, I now read all your posts in Aisha Tyler's voice (not a bad thing!). Yes, Hunnam has a bizarre walk. He's the only club guy in white sneaks, I thought it was for individuality but maybe they're orthopedic. I really haaate that sleazy Federal guy. Like I can't even watch when he's onscreen, he's so slimy. He may get a number of people killed and he's all "Oh well, I have to wrap up my case" in his weird voice. Gross. I just want the black guys and SAMCRO to stay friendly. No race wars, please! ETA: I think Clay's hands will somehow be his undoing.

bklynred, if only! I think she is pretty awesome either in animation or live action. I know Sons of Anarchy is loosely based on Hamlet. I have to admit my knowledge of that play is pretty basic. But I am guessing that Tara losing the use of her hand is the moment she really becomes Ophelia. I did like the federal guy when he first came on the show. I am disappointed that they have made him so slimy. I think it would've been better if he helped throw light on all the secrets in SAMCRO and then just sat back and watched them self destruct rather than have him actively be a double dealer. Even though I still have certain qualms about the way they are handling the race issues on the show I am impressed on how much better this season is then last. Last year I watched out of habit but this time I can't wait until the next episode. I think next week's is 90 minutes too. Should be lots of action!

Anyone else thinking Gemma is going to arrange for Clay to have an unfortunate accident? I think with that beating the love she had for him left.

HOLY CRAP! Did the show really kill off Clay? I keep thinking there is no way they would have but at the same this show has caught me off guard in the past.

Nah, I don't think it's at that point yet, but OTOH, <<<Jax didn't pull the trigger quite like he said he would...hmmm>>>
Just to clarify, Jax and Tara aren't married, right? Any reason why?
This episode solidified that Gemma's as sick as the rest of them. What does she think they're "building," exactly? I've never heard of a motorcycle club making it rich and retiring in Motorcycle Gardens.
Finally, DUDE, vote the prospect in. He's been pledging/on probation/prospecting for 2 or 3 seasons, it's becoming inane.

HOLY CRAP! Did the show really kill off Clay? I keep thinking there is no way they would have but at the same this show has caught me off guard in the past. I can't believe that they would actually kill off Clay but this show has totally surprised me in the past. I actually kind of hope that Clay is still alive, I just love Ron Perlman so much. The show would have a huge hole without him.I felt really awful for Bobby even though he's a stone cold murderer and drug runner. He's like....the least offensive one around there. Can't blame Otto for what he did though, he asked them for one, ONE thing and SAMCRO fucked it up royally. Which is kind of their MO, so I don't know what Otto was expecting. The scene with Opie and Jax was nuts. Bring it to the table? Good grief! I guess Jax just will not be capable of believing that Clay would put a hit out on Tara. And I just don't care about Wendy. At all. I'd rather see more of the other guys than any Wendy drama. Gemma just makes me sad. This is what you've been building for 20 years? A club that destroys everyone who comes into contact with it? This was your big dream with your son at the head of? Aim higher, damn. She's as crazy and evil as Clay and I hope hope hope that by the end of the series Jax knows all the crap she's pulled. And Happy continues to scare the bejesus out of me. His face when they where in that Irish baby factory (which was beyond bizarre) and that growl was scary as hell. If I ever saw that dude coming my way I would run the other direction. This season has more than made up for the lackluster previous one. I am so excited to watch every week!

I'll believe Clay is dead when they put his body in the creamatorium. I am sure someone is going to die in the finale but I can't imagine it'll be him. They have at least two more seasons, they wouldn't want to get rid of one of their main characters yet. My guess is either Bobby, Opie or Juice is not long for the world. Which would suck because I like all of them but it would be a cop out if after everything that went down this season if nobody bites it.
Both Gemma and Jax were annoying me this episode. I think in her own way Gemma is just as bad as Clay. I hope that she is working towards some end game to take out Clay herself otherwise none of her decisions make sense. A couple of weeks ago she was saying that Clay was going to die at the hands of one of the sons and then last night she was warning Clay about Opie coming after him? I guess she could be waiting for that last deal to go down to get his money but I don't know. The way she was threatening Tara was maddening. Just let her go.
And Jax has been so passive this season. It is kind of funny how everyone is so concerned about how he is going to react when he finds those letters yet he hasn't reacted at all so far to finding out people close to him have done despicable things. He didn't do a damn thing when he found out Clay beat his mom or killed Piney. Bring it to the table!? Please. He may fume but he is all talk and no action. I'm glad Opie called his bluff and just shot Clay. I hated how smug he was with Wendy too. The timing sucks but she has a point. Their kid probably would be better off with her. At least he would not have to see things like his dad go to jail or his mom get kidnapped.
The prospect cracks me up. I love how oblivious he is to everything going on.

Double posting since the season finale is this week. So Opie can't kill Clay despite shooting him twice at close range but Jax can kill a guy in a SUV while backwards on a moving bike!?
Is Romeo working for the feds? That is the only reason I can think of why he said that there was nothing going on in the prison. If so then that will be the exact same character that Danny Trejo played on Breaking Bad. He better watch out for turtles.
Screw Jax and the others who went along with the blame it on the black guys thing. I kind of hate them all now. I hope the niners kill them all. I am assuming they are laying the groundwork for next season which will be an all out race war. I know that SAMCRO have always been anti-heroes but this is the first time that I really want their enemies to beat them.
The only person left that I like I think is Tara. Nice to see her get one over on Gemma. Although becoming Gemma is a Pyrrhic victory at best.
