I do agree that rumors seem to plague up-and-coming actresses, but a lot of the rumros about Lea rumors started around her Broadway run of Spring Awakening, so I wouldn't say they're new.

I don't know about Morrison's sexuality though. It was just one of the reasons cited for why Sutton and Christian Borle called it quits. He allegedly cheated on her with Laura Bell Bundy, she got back by allegedly cheating with Morrison and her Young Frankenstein co-star, etc., etc.

Lea is Rachel. Rachel is Lea. It's almost as if Ryan Murphy created the character based on Lea Michele. While I don't particularly care if she is a diva or not, the girl has some serious chops. Though on some songs, the girl that plays Mercedes out sings her.

Allegedly! There were a lot of rumors of Christian and Laura hooking up during the early stages of Legally Blonde. Considering they did date after Christian's divorce, I would say that it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Lea's a damn good singer, but she's always seemed to have trouble controlling her vibrato. (?) It sounds like she's gasping for breath at some points. She also makes a face that's a cross between a duck-face and a "I'm trying to suck in my face to show off my cheekbones" face.

Give me Chenowith any day. She's like walking sunshine, and has an AMAZING voice.

I'm increasingly irritated with her facial expressions while she sings. I get that she's trying to emote, but she looks like she's hurting herself. Just once, I'd like to see her begin a song in a way that doesn't involve her squeezing her eyes shut and grimacing.

On a nicer note, I can't believe she was the little girl in Ragtime! I loved the show in like, 4th grade or whenever it was, and I was SO jealous that she got to wear an old-timey costume and be in a musical.

I saw part of one episode and was bored off my rocker thinking, "what is this shit?" As for her singing, not impressed either. She has that overly trained, without soul voice that Broadway singers tend to have IMO. She sounds like she should do the singing for a princess in a Disney movie, it's that bland to me. I also agree she looks smug as hell and she's not even good looking to me. Her schnoz is huge!

Her voice has always bothered me too. I'm sure it's wonderful, but for me, it lacks something. It's a power whitebread voice. No soul indeed.
