I sincerely hope someone writes a tell-all about these behind-the-scenes shenanigans. Hopefully that someone is Jenna Ushkowitz, whom always seem to get the short end of the stick on Glee. Or perhaps someone from the 2.0 group who is bittercakes about all the newbies getting the shaft. This all sounds very high school. Lea & Naya are both talented, but they sound impossible. Hope Amber Riley, Harry Shum Jr., and Dianna Agron have decent careers after this. The rest, I'm kind of meh about. If blind items are to be believed Chris Colfer was nice at first but has since evolved into an asshole. Thank goodness this mess won't seem to tarnish Matthew Morrison or Jane Lynch, both of whom are too good for this shit.

Matthew Morrison was already tarnished before he came to Glee. So unless he has a TV or film career after the show (possible), he's done. He's not going back to Broadway, because apparently he is level 10 hated there for cheating on his ex-wife, who is very popular in that world.

Chris Colfer appears to want to shift into producing and writing projects, which is good, as he's pretty limited as an actor.

Unless she lands a plum role, Dianna Agron's career is already DOA. She has quite a few cinematic bombs under belt at this point. She seems really nice, though. I could see Amber doing well on another TV show. I think the rest of the cast has pretty much peaked, though.

I'm not one to think Lea and Corey were faking it, as Corey didn't seem to be the type to give a shit about PR and that stuff, and no one cared when it came out that they were dating as there was mostly just some blurry shots of them hanging out on a beach. They didn't pimp the relationship at all, where she pimped the hell out of other relationships and friendships. But I do think she and her Mom are very calculating.

I'm not surprised at the blowups, really. They main cast has been working on the show, touring, recording, and etc. non stop for years now. They have to be sick of each other.

I disagree that they didn't pimp out the relationship. There were tons of blatant photo ops of those two.

I'm hesitant to label it as total PR, but I do think they were not nearly as serious as the media made out. It seems obvious that they were leading separate lives, had separate circles of friends, and probably weren't even in the same city most of the time when they weren't filming.

Really? The only stuff I remember seeing were pics of them together at awards shows, a few images of them entering and leaving LAX, a blurry shot of them on a beach on vacation, and set-related pics. Pretty mild, considering I saw every moment of her vacation with Jonathan Groff, knew every time she was having a girl's night out with Dianna Agron, and she was constantly papped making out with Theo Stockman or whatever his name was when they were dating, hah.

I didn't realize he was married before. Who is his ex-wife, I didn't see anything on his IMDB or wikipedia page.

As far as the cast goes, there's a solved blind item on BlindGossip that supposedly Lea was the cause of Naya and Big Sean breaking up, and of Naya leaving Glee.

The set atmosphere sounds so toxic. Is this specific just to this Ryan Murphy show or are all his shows similar?

I don't believe for a second that Lea had anything to do with Big Sean. Most of those Glee blind items have come out AFTER reports of problems have already hit the media, then they just fill in the blanks with a bunch of fanfic. And that last one, well, I wouldn't be surprised if it came right from Naya.

As for Cory/Lea, they went to a lot of events together, made sure to be seen while on vacation, had the obligatory shopping pics, did the NYC walking pics (while in town for Fox upfronts), and I have my doubts Cory was really that into sitting front row at Versace during Paris fashion week. Whether it was all PR or not, I can see debating, but I absolutely think they pimped this relationship out.

Didn't Matthew cheat with Sutton Foster? Topic: I can see Lea doing more television and obviously, Broadway. Unlike Jonathan Groff she isn't universally loved so she better get humble and fast. Don't know what the future holds for Naya Rivera but her fucked up face really makes me weep.

Naya's essential snottiness showed up in her song "Sorry" and left me with no sympathy for her.

Also, I can't see Lea getting with Big Sean. Does not compute.

Sorry! Not his wife, his ex-fiancee, Chrishell Stause, is the one he has cheating rumors with.

Also, I'm not a Broadway-phile, but I remember there being a lot of hate for him when he got big on Glee from Broadway fans at the time. Maybe someone into the scene knows what I am talking about?

And I don't know, those pics are pretty standard for celebs, whether they're dating someone or just single and famous. I guess I just never felt smacked over the head with it in relation to how she pimped other things or how other celeb relationships get pimped, real or not.
