I thought she looked fab at the NY premiere for Crazy, Stupid, Love. in the black lace Tom Ford dress. Except for the hip area of the dress. I would like to ask Tom Ford what the hell he was thinking when he designed that part of the dress. Whatever drug he was doing, he needs to never do it again. IMO, she, Josh Groban, and Ryan Gosling are the best things about the movie. She is actually the right age for the character she plays, who has just finished law school and taking the bar exam. Josh Groban stole the movie and every scene he was in, at least for me. Edited to delete something some might consider a spoiler.

I knew Josh Groban was going to be in the movie. I do like him, but I was rolling my eyes thinking, "Oh great, another singer who thinks they can act." But he actually did quite well. Put him in a boring suit and give him a boring haircut and he could totally pass as a dull lawyer.
And before the big reveal that Hannah was the Weaver's oldest daughter, I was thinking she could totally pass as their kid.

I think the fug girls described them as built in cupholders! Emma looked great though.

ladybug you are smarter than me. I posted this is the dumb quotes thread because I couldn't find the Jim Carrey thread. It belongs here.

That video gave me the creeps (only a little) and made me laugh at the same time. His little "I love you" .. "I do" at the end was hilarious!

I think she's absolutely made of win. I really, really want to see The Help and Friends with Benefits just for her. Easy A is pretty much a textbook example of a comedic, star-making turn and I think she is sane and grounded enough to weather fame. Plus, she's stunning. And funny.
I disliked many things about Crazy Stupid Love but she was pretty decent. And actually I'd love for her and Julianne to play mother/daughter again. That was unexpected, but it actually made sense. She totally seems like she could be the progeny of Julianne and Steve/their characters.. Also, I initially posted it in the movie's thread - there was a recent blind item that was almost certainly about her and Ryan Gosling dating now, as they were spotted recently getting FroYo in NYC:
I thought it was about her and Andrew Garfield, but it says that the film already has come out and Spiderman hasn't. Which, BTW, I totally approve of her and Gosling as a pairing. Which says a lot because it took me a long time to give up on McGosling since I witnessed their lurve IRL (and I've never seen The Notebook). They seem like they'd be a good match.

I wish there was more of her in Friends with Benefits. She was barely in the first few minutes. But the movie itself wasn't too bad. She's great in The Help!

She agreed to do basically a cameo in FWB because Will Gluck, who did Easy A asked. She's loyal like that - apparently, she's going to be in a period piece as part of a gangster love triangle with Ryan Gosling, again, and Sean Penn, with the person who did Zombieland directing. She has such natural warmth on-screen. And she was funny on SNL. I also find it hysterical that she had to delete her Facebook account because she was a Farmville addict. It's crazy for me to think of any of my peers - or, actually, kids younger than me - not having a social media account. But, I won't name names, but some mods around here could use a Farmville rehab.
