Chances are, Andrew has a navy pension, but what other income is there? I think he has income from a trust fund, he gets an allowance from Mum and Dad, and he has his RN pension (that's probably a drop in the bucket; military pensions don't make you rich).

That's not enough for him and Sarah. They like to live high on the hog, out of sight from Royal Reporters.

Well, there are the shady Saudi princes, the shady Hong Kong businessman, as well as the shady Russian dudes who are happy to pay for access to the Prince, and favorite of Her Maj.
Something tells me Andy has voracious appetites of all kinds, and those expenses add up.

Something tells me Andy has voracious appetites of all kinds, and those expenses add up. He has also for decades been a very close friend of Saif Gaddafi, son of Muammar. So he's used to turning his head when something "voracious" is going on. According to Wikipedia and the documents they quote from, he gets about a quarter million pounds a year from HerMaj. And he's long used his job as "trade ambassador", lol, to develop links and connections to corrupt, rich men all over the world.250,000 a year is not enough for these two. They're getting shady money from somewhere, and keeping the heat on the Sussexes, by leaking info, true or not, about the workings of their household, keeps the tabloid rags from focusing their attention on the source of the Yorks' money. Also, the Yorks own a ski chalet in Switzerland that has been valued as high as 13 million pounds, not dollars, in 2015 money, which they somehow got a mortgage for. BBC says "It has been stressed to the BBC that no "external party" provided funding for the purchase." Right. The analysis at the bottom of the link, about "the life that Prince Andrew can afford to live", is interesting.

The figures I saw quoted for Andrew's net worth are generally around $75 million, but Charles is worth closer to half a billion. I can see that being a sore point for Andrew, though he's not in the poorhouse by any means. And a lot of Charles's net worth is entailed to William.

If Randy Andy is worth $75M then why on earth did Sarah who is pretty much his roommate have to borrow money from Epstein and try to sell access to the family a few years back? If he has money to do as he pleases, could he have not given her money since she still gets royal perks.

All, and I mean all, of his life's necessities are taken care of. I doubt he ever even had to pay to fill up at the pump. All that he's asked to do is pay for his non crown related vacations, right? The crown pays for ("work" related) travel, housing, staff, and clothes, right? He just pays for any gifts or toys he wants to buy--cars, houses, boats, chalets, etc. So where is all his money going? I cannot believe he spent $75M or even half of that living a lavish lifestyle outside of the royal coffers.

Is his $75 million mostly tied up in property and, uh, jewels? I don’t know what other assets it could be, but something expensive and illiquid

Yeah no way is Andy worth 75 million, when Sarah is hitting up his good friend Epstein for 15,000. It's probably a lot of property that he can't actually sell.

Yeah, masseurs' tips can hardly be paid in a brick from a stately home.
