With the Duke evidently manoeuvring for some sort of return to public life, a prospect that she says probably appals the Prince of Wales and William, Brown says the Andrew Problem is hard to solve. ‘What are they going to do to disappear this healthy, 62-year-old man – lock him up at the top of Glamis Castle? At least in the time of Henry V they could just have banished him. All he can do now is go riding – Andrew used to absolutely hate riding by the way, but he’s doing a lot of it at the moment because the only person who’ll talk to him is the horse!’

Not a Royal follower, why don’t they remarry now? They seem to be close. Why wait for QEII to pass? Doesn’t she approve?

I wouldn't be surprised if the Queen doesn't approve. Fergie caused a huge scandal. Not only did she cheat on the Queen's favourite son, but there were photos splashed all over the media of her having her toes sucked by her lover.

I bet the Queen blames Fergie for every shady deal Andrew's been involved in.

Fergie's got a whole other 30 years of trashy behavior under her belt since the toe sucking, most of it much worse. Getting caught on video accepting $500,000 from an undercover reporter to give access to Andrew in his capacity as trade envoy is one of the worst. But there are the bankruptcies, the many embarrassing methods she has gone about earning money to pay for her spending addiction, and the two tell-all memoirs which were very critical of the royal family. (Meghan and Harry are not the first royals to list their complaints about royal life to Oprah - Fergie beat them to it.) Let's not forget that Sarah was in with Epstein up to her eyeballs too, and had him covering some of her debts.

It's bad enough Andrew can't be subdued; I doubt anybody in the BRF wants to let the uncontrollable trash that is Sarah Ferguson wheedle her way back in too. Prince Philip supposedly vowed never to be in the same room with Fergie ever again, and a remarriage was totally out of the question while he was alive. As soft as QEII might be towards Andrew, I don't think she's going to betray her husband's very firm stance on the matter.

Andrew is HM’s baby but Phillip was her love and life. No way they’re getting remarried while she still lives.

I do not envy Charles and William when she passes. Everything is going to be sh*tstorm.

They still live together at Royal Lodge- at least in the same house, I don't know how separate their lives are there.
