I don’t know what’s more tragic - the dress or the bangs.

It looks like they had leftover scraps from two old bridesmaids’ dresses that they threw together to make her gown.

It looks like the bottom half of her dress was destroyed while she was in the process of cutting her bangs with a pair of saftey scissors. She didn't know what to do so she grabbed some purple moire curtains off the window and wrapped them around her waist. It was the only way she could get home without everyone seeing her business.
That's my story and I am sticking to it.

This Oscar look of hers from a few years ago is still one of my absolute favorites ever. I don't know what she went for with last night's outfit, hair and makeup. Maybe she's at the edgy stage of red carpet looks in her career ;-)

I really want to applaud risk taking, but man... I really hate that dress. Better luck next time I suppose!

On one of the morning shows they said in keeping with the “sustainability” theme that seems to be running through some of these shows, the top part of her dress was from a recent dress and I guess it was reworked with that hideous lilac skirt.

On one of the morning shows they said in keeping with the “sustainability” theme that seems to be running through some of these shows, the top part of her dress was from a recent dress and I guess it was reworked with that hideous lilac skirt. I heard one of the fashion correspondents on E! talking about this. But she said that the top part of the dress was cut from the same bolt as a dress she had worn to some other award show earlier this season. And I was sort of scratching my head about she could refer to that as sustainable fashion. According to her, it wasn’t like they were reusing the fabric from the old dress. They were just cut more off of the bolt that was already made.
