All I've seen her in is Atonement and that was enough for me to think she's totally awesome.

Gorgeous and talented, and her eyes project intelligence. I would love to see her and Kate Winslet play sisters. I can sort of see the resemblance but at nearly twenty years the age gap is a bit much to have them plausibly play sisters. Mother and daughter maybe? I'd love to see Saoirse play an Irish character. |

I'd love to see Saoirse play an Irish character. Me too. It seems weird, there's so few Irish characters in film and they mostly seem to be played by non-Irish actors. Meanwhile the Irish actors are mostly playing non-Irish characters. I love Kelly MacDonald, but I wish they'd gotten an Irish actress for her part on Boardwalk Empire. |

It's particularly bad with Irish female characters and actresses - at least Colin Farrell and Colm Meaney get to play Irish every so often. I'm always a little disappointed when I see the likes of Gabrielle Anwar or Katie Carr playing Irish gals. |

I hope someone sees this movie soon so I can ask some particular questions about the PG-13 rating. REALLY want to go see this but we don't have a sitter so we'd have to take LittlestCatHead, who is 12.
