Did anyone else watch this after Modern Family?
I thought it was pretty sit-com-y, but I also liked it so much more than some of the other new shows. It seemed quite like Friends, but without the laugh track.
I laughed enough to keep watching.

I watched it. It was sitcom-y, but I enjoyed the premise of the group of friends having to work through one of the couple's having a devastating break-up and still trying to keep the group intact. Hopefully the characters will start being less one-note. I really enjoy Casey Wilson and the girl from Scrubs, so, for now, I'll keep watching.

I was pleasantly surprised by this. It was quite sitcom-y and familiar but the cast was funny. I especially liked the non-stereotypical gay guy. And Damon Wayans Jr. is very handsome. Out of all of the new shows like this-Mad Love, Perfect Couples, Traffic Lights this one seems to be the best.

I actually watched both episodes and laughed. It is infinitely better than Perfect Couples.

I thought it was good. I've missed Casey Wilson so I'm glad she has a show, and good Lord is Damon Wayans Jr hot.

I just watched it and enjoyed it a lot. It's like I saw myself in the Penny character. I don't know if I should laugh or cry about that.

I'm on the second episode. And, yeah, it's actually funny and way, way better than either "Mad Love" or "Perfect Couples" (which is now canceled.) Lurve Eliza Coupe from "Scrubs: The New Class" and missed Casey Wilson as well. I liked the non-gay gay guy since my first boyfriend was just like that, football and all. He's also kinda cute and the lead dude Dave is VERY cute. CNDB said he did full-frontal with a semi-boner in some French flick, I will google furiously and then update the endowments thread.

I was not that impressed. It seems like the only reason the straight-seeming gay dude is even a character is so they can get away with making tons of gay jokes/episode. Don't get me wrong -- I love me some gay jokes. As long as they're funny (kinda like jokes on any other topic, really).

I really like this show and think it's pretty funny! Its ratings are just so-so though so its chances for renewal are iffy. I think this show is more reminiscent of UK Coupling (the sexual humour and phrases like "chicksand") than Friends. Although UK Coupling was heavily inspired by Friends so I think I'm now stuck in some sort of causality loop!
