I forgot to come back to this thread. I've been watching it and I love it now! Everyone plays their bit so well. They are really getting into the groove with their characters, I think.

I'm really impressed how much better Elisha Cuthbert has gotten - I thought she was the comedic weak link in the first episodes of the series. My favorite random gag in the episode? In reference to the famous PSA, when Megan Mullaly throw the kleenex on the ground and asked if it made Dave cry, then when he said no, she told him that he wasn't a real Navajo. |

I'm still giggling about Penny's single girl meltdown in episode 1 -- the cats that broke in, the DVR filled with episodes of The View and The Good Wife (which it turned out Max had taped since his own DVR was filled with episodes of The View and The Good Wife) and the pizza menu for singles that was slipped under her door (which she realizes later is not symbolic but just a Really Great Deal!!!) I die!

And eating ice cream right out of the carton! And all the magical cartons that kept appearing/she had had hidden when Jane took one away - "give me the floor ice cream!"

I loved those! One thing I love/hate about this show is how fast the jokes come. You might miss it but you'll catch it upon subsequent viewings. It is the kind of show you watch episodes over and over.

I loved the "In Living Color" reference they slipped in there as a nod to Brad's RL bros. This show is AH.MAH.ZING!

The Halloween episode was great. Every single thing Damon Wayans Jr. does makes me laugh. I only wish we could have seen Brad's egg costume. Also I would have loved to see the double Penns.
