I love this show so much. It used to be the first post-Friends sitcom about a group of friends I really thought measured up, but it is turning into one of my favorite sitcoms of all time.
Brad and Jane are my favorites, separately and (especially) together.

ok, so I love Brad and Max together. So much.
Also, it seems like they've finally given Alex something to do: eat.
The show already feels a bit tired to me. But that could be my horrendous mood today.
ETA: I loved the parrot too. I liked the presentation of the Big Dave sandwich (and then the Ed Begley JR later)

The racist and homophobic parrot - and Brad and Max's reactions to it - killed me. "This will be just like on The Wire!" "Just like on The Wire!" "Dude, stop saying that." "But 'this will be just like on Blue Bloods' doesn't have the same impact." "True." I also liked everyone chiming in with "YOU LEFT DAVE AT THE ALTAR" when Alex couldn't understand Big Dave's dislike of her. I think the show, overall, has been handling it in a remarkably not-dumb manner. It happened and they've been able to remain friends but that doesn't mean that it doesn't still cause weirdness sometimes. It's just nice to see a sitcom where a group of men and women, of various relationship statuses, sexualities and whatnot, are genuine friends as opposed to all the retrograde sitcoms like Whitney and Work It! being greenlit that rely on "see, women are like this! and guys are like this! hilarity!" stereotypes. The cast singing the Full House theme. Elisha really has gained a tremendous amount of comedy chops in a short period.

I continue to fucking love Jane and Brad! Best married couple on TV...that I can think of off the top of my head.
I'm always so excited to see Ryan Hansen and was bummed that his role isn't part of an arc or recurring. Sigh, he's so dreamy when he's playing a dumbass.

"How did you get a table at Tableaux? That place is harder to get into than Obvious Joke Here...the new alt-comedy club downtown."
Utterly fantastic.
"It's like I'm a gay salmon fighting for my life in a river of bears." "More of a cub, but..."
Even fantastic-er.
"Then he told me that he hates it when I say a-MAH-zing but I've barely said it at all this season."
Awesome. One of my favorite episodes they've done.
Weekend at Bernie Mac's. Ha!
Eliza Coupe and Damon Wayans Jr are going to be live-tweeting during the episode on the West Coast.

I laughed my ass off during Brad's drug trip. And I loved the Friends comparison!

I laughed my ass off during Brad's drug trip. And I loved the Friends comparison! I've been comparing the Happy Endings 6 to the Friends 6 for awhile now and was amused that the show is acknowledging it too! Fat Joey!

Max's boyfriend, Grant, is smoking hot. I look forward to seeing more of him.

I love Jane and Brad! Tonight's ep was hilarious, as usual.
