I haven't seen the movie, but Justin Timberlake suddenly seems effeminate whenever he has to act. The effeminateness is present in the trailer for this movie as well.

So I ask my age-old question: worth a matinee or wait for cable? Cable. We paid $13.50 to see it at the matinee and that was $13.50 I wish that I had spent elsewhere.

What we all should be spending our $13.50 on is sunscreen. Cameron looked HARD and her skin looked terrible.

Uh, I've now seen this.
This movie is horrifically bad. I thought it was worse than all of Aniston's movies combined.
What kind of terrible taste in movie scripts does Cameron Diaz have?
I couldn't wait for this movie to end, and Cameron Diaz's character might be one of the most hatable characters I've ever had the misfortune to watch.

Saw it this weekend. It was mostly meh. There were a few funny moments but it dragged. How anyone could find PAB attractive, I do not know. I was hoping it would be a bit raunchier but it was pretty tame. It seemed like it wanted to go there but held back, so it suffered from being mediocre. I'd say if there's nothing else to see it'd be an okay matinee.

I kind of liked it, it was funnier than I expected and it was the first time I've found Jason Segel attractive.
Cameron Diaz looks bad in the movie. I think the harsh make up was intentional, but it is not flattering. Her body is still great and her eyes are gorgeous, but her skin is awful. She doesn't look old as much as hard. It's the Kate Moss syndrome (though she looks better, IMO) your twenties are forgiving, but at some point partying will catch up with you.
Justin Timberlake... meh. His acting isn't bad, but it is weird. It's like the difference between being good at karaoke and being a good singer - he's good on SNL but it doesn't cut it on the big screen. He has that quality where I never manage to forget that he's not really an actor. Even Cameron seemed better, and she's not winning any Oscars anytime soon.
I enjoyed his song, though. The "sex" scene, however, was horrifying.

Also, I almost wish her character didn't help out the poetry nerd...it would have been funnier to have her unrepentantly not care about any of her students or their problems.

Diaz looked like shit. She looked so bad I was at a loss to know what I ever saw in her before. I still remember the cute hottie in The Mask. And to be honest that British chick out acted her throughout the whole movie.
