You saw the frame by frame zaprudering of his naked butt over in the Celebrity Endowments thread... he looks so meaty, doesn't he? Not in any sort of bad way, of course. I read that he got really cut and muscular for Conan, which he filmed before Game of Thrones, but they wanted him to be muscular and large for GoT so he packed on some weight. I keep thinking he would crush that little woman who played his wife if he wasn't careful.
You know, I watched every episode of Stargate Atlantis and he didn't make that much of an impression on me back then, but now I find myself a lot more interested. I guess it's the whole "look at the half nekkid stud" factor... I'm finding I'm kinda shallow that way.

I'll join you in the paddling pool and we can be shallow together, then, LurkerNan, if that's OK. I actually vastly prefer his physique as Drogo over Conan. As Drogo, you can tell he could crush you but still have a couple of beers afterwards.
Post GoT, I actually will make an effort to catch an SGA rerun (if I'm up at that ungodly hour--thanks SyFy).

I'm about through the first season os GoT and yee gods does he work the guyliner well!
I've read some and watched some interviews of him and he strikes me as a bit of a dork. But I think that's makes him even more endearing. Karl Urban has the same going for him. Both have hot faces and hot bods but at are giant geeks at heart but they own it.
Is SGA worth watching? I like sci-fi but I've never checked out any of the Stargate shows.

I watched the entire run of SGA a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was very entertaining. Momoa was pretty good at being Ronon Dex. He's supposed to be a kind of uncivilized but I thought Momoa brought some humor and warmth to the character. I like his body the best in SGA where he's lean with muscle. And his dreadlocks were sexy. ETA: His character is added in the 2nd season btw.

I don't watch GoT - about to catch up On Demand!, but based on the pictures posted here, sorry, guys, I think he's a total butterface. Between the ridiculous fivehead outdoing Tyra's and his weird sharpness around the brow, I think he looks like a Klingon sometimes. It doesn't help that I am also very anti-dreadlocks. I just...no.

I will say that was a fine meaty ass in those pics in the Endowments thread. Maybe if I just take him from behind and don't have to look at his face....

huntergrayson, I know how big you are (your body size, that is, ya big perv) and I've read about how large his frame is and now I'm picturing the two of you with him as the bottom and Ye Gods how did I ever get this in my head and how will I get it out??
I don't know that I need brain bleach as much as a big can of brain lysol.

Both series are on Netflix Instant but I don't really want to watch TEN seasons of SG-1 just to understand the plot of SGA.

SGA can be watched without having watched SG-1. There are some characters that overlap, but it's not hard to pick up how they fit in.
