How is the husband's ex-mistress pregnant now? I thought it was a year ago on the show that he and his student were caught by his wife. Or, was it a few months and if so, she'd be showing a bit more, right?
I don't like it when a fucked up timeline takes me out of the show.

How is the husband's ex-mistress pregnant now? I thought it was a year ago on the show that he and his student were caught by his wife. That's what I thought, too. But I think the wife hadn't had sex with him for a year after the miscarriage so he started banging the mistress during that time. Wife found out about it and then...what? They immediately moved to California? And routine CBC blood work is going to show traces of a drug that was discontinued 30 years ago???  And the wife had to climb aboard a haunted-Hollywood-type tour to find out about their house? Has she not heard of Google?! I know, I know. I should just let the story take its course but the leaps of logic here are really ridiculous. |

I'm pretty sure the Big Twist Reveal will be that this show was never intended to make a lick of sense and was always supposed to be a 200-vehicle highway accident of horror tropes smashed together.
It's one of the most jarringly stupid and bad shows ever produced. And I wouldn't miss an episode.

I understand that the show makes 0 sense, but I still enjoy it for the entertainment value. I know I couldn't expect logic from a RM show. I was creeped out by the fact that Viv started bleeding and was fine once she was in the house. The husband is such an ass. Right now I'm on Team House! in that battle. I actually felt bad for Moira.

Well, yeah, this AND the fact that Viv is also pregnant and was showing far more than the girlfriend, when we know that, until very recently, she hadn't had sex with her husband in well over a year (the year before he started banging the student, plus the time since then). In fact, the girlfriend wasn't showing at all — she was stick thin with a flat stomach. So I'm thinking the good doctor is totally losing it and she never showed up at the house — or maybe he killed her months ago, before they moved to California, and is using the scary burn victim/murderer as someone to shift the blame to. (Denis O'Hare is awesome, as always) So yeah, this show makes no sense. I love it. Are we supposed to think Tate is the son Jessica Lange's character mentioned to Viv in the last ep? |

Pregnancies are very diffent though. Connie Britton isn't stick thin, she has some meat on her bones, so I think that's one of the reasons she looks a little more pregnant. My mom didn't show when she was carrying my little sister until she was 6 months old. People would ask me if she really was pregnant.

I dunno, if Dylan McDermott Mulroney can pour a foundation for and build an entire gazebo in a single afternoon, I'm sure Connie can build a fetus and take it to term while making a sandwich.

There's so much stupid going on here, but I can't look away, it's too much fun. Nitpicking here: Does vag blood defy gravity in this universe? Whenever I've had an accident its always flowed downward when I've been seated and I've never experienced anything like lap staining. |

I'm guessing that my Ben Harmon Halloween costume idea won't fly in too many neighbourhoods, what with all the crying-while-masturbating it would require. I save that for more private moments.

Goodbye, Addie!  I'm glad she didn't make it to the lawn. And I haven't heard such cliched dialogue between two gay men since Queer as Folk ended, so, good job writers! Really enjoyed this show last night -- and was pretty creeped out by the doctor re-engineering his dead baby in the basement. |
