Dalia is the best part of this show. Her delivery just cracks me right up, great actress. Her wish for the "Hangover monkey" cracked me up. It was so randomly stupid!

I remember the epiode in which Tessa told Dalia that she wore so much eyemakeup she ouldn't blink. Dalia said she could and did--one eye at a time. Slow-motion winks. Whoever wirtes for her character must have a field day.

Forgot to watch this, but caught up and loved the little "Clueless" references. Did anyone catch the need for them to play The Cranberries in the opening scene (Elton's fav, natch) with a little "I'm clueless on these things" comment to Alicia's character and then another convo about "Suck & Blow"? I'm a Clueless nerd.

The show needs more Dahlia and less Eden. I wanted to like Alicia's character but would rather throw vegan loaf at her head. I don't blame Tessa for being snarky to her, it would be hard not to respond to her that way.
That kid's room cracked me right up. That crib was so very disturbing and the miniature Louisville slugger that MamaWerner wacked the baby seal with, hilarious.
This show is just all over the place for me. Tessa's reaction at the end when she met her grandmother seemed a bit over the top but if I was forced to live with Eden I think I'd take that out as well if it was presented to me.

Eden is precisely the kind of vegan I can't stand. Though so is Alicia, so that's not at all surprising. I used to work with a woman who'd lecture me about the harmful chemicals in plastic every single time I had a Lean Cuisine for lunch. Eden reminds me way too much of her.
And Tessa's been angling for a way out of Chatswin since she got there, so her voiceover at the end made perfect sense. I doubt she'll be gone long because then they'd have to change the name of the show.

because then they'd have to change the name of the show. And the way the song is sung. What was with that strange change to it last night?

I know right? Suddenly I could actually understand the lyrics. It was weird.

I know! It was so over the top I actually thought it was Eden having a nightmare.
I hope this show doesn't start to go all sappy on us now. Cause there were hints on the finale that it just might, what with Tessa meeting her grandmother and the revelation that mamma's boy Ryan was adopted. I like things the way they are with just a few sweet moments sprinkled into the mix.

The idea of a Cluleless reunion was cute but it really should have been a one episode shot. Alicia Silverstone just didn't fit with the show. She was a total drag. Luckily it looks like she won't be back in season two. Some more spoilers for season two. They sound promising. I love all the Shays, I'm glad we'll see more of them. They need to make Ryan a regular. I noticed in the second half of this season George and Tessa didn't have as many scenes together. I wonder if that was a response to all the comments on the two of them having sexual chemistry. I read an interview with the creator a while ago where someone asked her about that and she seemed horrified. And they kind of do have a weird vibe but still they are funnier when they are together than in separate story lines all the time.
