They have just started showing this in Australia - up to episode 4 I think. I am quite enjoying it so far.

I thought they cancelled this but then I heard that it was renewed. My husband has a good idea of how they can bring it back based upon the ending/finale, if that's the case.
Anson Mount does nothing for me in real life but I love him as Bohanon. I never saw it, but I can't believe that he's the guy from Crossroads.

It seems like it is a much cleaner world than Deadwood and with less bodily hair. I just watched the fight scene between Bohannan and Elam. They waxed their chests back then??

I thought season one started dragging about midseason but season two kept my attention from start to finish.

Anyone else watch the season finale last night? I think it will end up being the series finale. IMDB shows that both Anson Mount & Common have a lot of projects going on current/in the near future. I predicted an ambiguous ending.
That Mormon girl better realize how lucky she is fall into a marriage with Bohannon! Too bad she'll probably die in childbirth or he'll kill the Swede and they'll end up on the run. I did laugh at how Elam ended up. Again, if there is a season 4, I have already predicted how things will go.

I don't think Cullen is the baby daddy. I think it's more likely her own father or brother. I think the Swede will kill her. Elam might not be dead. The Native American who survived will probably rescue him. I agree that the episode was ambiguous enough that it could easily be the last show for the series.

This show had some good things in it (the Swede, Common, and Colm Meany) but it never cohered for me. It was like every Western trope since the 1960s thrown together: whores, racial unrest, antihero gunfighters, the Oirish, more whores, drinkin', dirt, a Confederate soldier whose family was killed by them damn Yankees, an Alberta backdrop, and cameos by historical figures. They never focused enough on a single story line enough to engage me. Nice idea and I tried my best but I won't miss it.

Season four starts August 2nd. Hopefully the Swede dies.

Finally! I was wondering if they'd changed their minds and canceled it after all because I've not heard a single word about it. AMC doesn't promote it at all.

The only reason I found the news is that I follow Anson Mount on Facebook.
