It's a shame that he got dumped on his third anniversary. It was. Brick should have been more understanding. Children before boyfriends. Always.

The costumer on this show deserves an Emmy just for Kristen Chenoweth's shoes and Annie Potts' dresses. Gorgeous.

This is some good frivolous fun. I don't mind it so much and I think it's a lot more campy then Desperate Housewives could ever be.
I'll keep watching until I starts to suck. Heh.

That's how I see this show - campy, silly, soapy. Unrealistic in that most are caricatures, but entertaining nonetheless. And I don't mind seeing fundie hypocrites get called out.

I like it. It does seem to have a Desperate Housewives tone, so I kept waiting for a voiceover about a murder mystery. I like all of the cast. I would like to see all of the girls ban together and become friends or frenemies (kind of like DH, I guess) and see what they can get into. Kristen Chenoweth's character is coming off a little more mean than funny right now (although she's still funny). I think it would be funnier to see her use her powers in a "good" way, or at least on the "good" side. (Leslie Bibb's character is arguably supposed to be the "good" side, I guess?).
I know they all feel they have to get payback for what she did to them in high school, so maybe once they've tortured her enough, they can move on? I just don't like the outright meanness-like when Carlene iced the real estate agent just because she was being nice to Amanda, or when they were going to label Amanda's daughter a pig (I forgot the name they used?). I prefer the more shady kind of meanness-something I would think good church Southern ladies would be good at.
Anyway I loved Popular too, so I'm glad to see Leslie Bibb. Would love to see Mary Cherry and Cherry Cherry too!

I am really enjoying this show. I feel sorry for Sharon - who wants a loveless marriage? At least the Carouth marriage has the great friendship love. Best lines are definitely Carlene's: "God hates failure." And my favorite exchange on the show has to be between the internet millionaire and Carlene about the welcome party for his introduction into society or whatever.
Carlene: "We can just invite all of your friends over to the church fundraiser." Rich nerd: "But they're not all Christian." Carlene: "Not yet."

I'm enjoying the show, too. It's sort of a mix of Desperate Housewives meets Designing Women meets RHoHouston (which doesn't exist yet! LOL).
I adore Annie Potts and I think it's a lot of kooky fun. Gives me something fun to watch on a Sunday.

I like it, too. I haven't really heard much buzz about it, though. I don't really keep up with ratings, but I hope it sticks around. I think it's the only non-reality show I'm watching.

I watch DH out of habit and because my mom likes to talk about it, and I watch this because it's on after DH and it's not like it's so awful it's worth changing the channel from. Then I end up getting warm fuzzies from G.C.B. and feel like a big sap for it.
I've been watching since the pilot, and I still have trouble remembering the names. Besides Heroine and Latina Friend, there's Kristen Chenoweth, Other Blonde Lady, and Lady Whose Eyes Are Really Close Together OMG That's Miriam Shor Who Was Yitzhak in Hedwig. Whenever someone says "Cricket" or "Kitten," I'm not sure which one that is.
