Hee! It took me some getting used to with the names (and I'm still trying), but Cricket is the actual name of the brunette who's husband is gay and Kitten is the nickname for Kristen Chenoweth's character.

Thanks! Now that you've said it and I've written about it twice, I guess I've driven it into my head that Yitzhak is Cricket, but I still feel resistance to it. It doesn't even work for me in a "smart, tough businesswoman saddled with silly cutesy soap opera animal name" comedy way. I looked up the show on Wikipedia, and some of the names do ring a bell--I can recall people calling La Chenoweth "Carlene," and her tsking "Amanda, Amanda, Amanda" to the heroine--but I seriously had no recollection of "Sharon." Last week's B-plot was all about Other Blonde Lady and her invisibrowed husband, and still I had no memory of there being a Sharon on this show.

The blonde who worked for the pastor is Sharon. I'm still trying to keep track of their kids - how many, names, ages. It seems they all have two or three teenagers, which makes sense, but it's also more difficult to remember.

Well, Cricket and Carlene only have one (one a boy and one a girl, respectfully). Amanda and Sharon have two, both a boy and girl. The other one, who's name escapes me (she's trying to hook up with Tom Everett Scott's character), doesn't have any and has never been married.

I've been studying.

I can't decide which ep I loved more. I think it was the 2nd one. I laughed and laughed at all the sex.
The Gone with the Wind wedding theme was ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous, but fit Carlene so very much.
I realized while watching these eps that I really don't like Amanda all that much. She irks me. Cricket/GG are my favorite GCB because of their dry humor, followed by Carlene & Sharon. Heather is pretty much a non-entity, though I did feel bad for her that she got dumped by the geek.

I like them all, too, but the actress who plays Amanda does have a flat effect. I don’t know her from anything else, so I don’t know if that’s just her or if she’s playing the character that way. This show is so nutty and over the top. If a couple in my church had a vow renewal every year, we’d laugh at them behind their back (like GCB’s). If they had a themed vow renewal, we’d laugh them out the door. If they had a Gone With the Wind theme, I might invite them back, just because. Lawdy, that was ridiculous. A shower every year? I have to get me some of that; my stuff is old and crappy.
