Reese in Celine at the SAG awards. It's pretty, but I always feel like Reese's dresses, to my eyes, are fairly safe. And that's fine. She's pretty petite and I like that she doesn't usually go crazy with a silhouette that would overwhelm. And she does take chances with color, I'll say that. So, yeah, this is fine. Related (sort of): the trailer for "Little Fires Everywhere" is out and it looks great. I give Reese HUGE credit for optioning really good books and producing some great TV. |

I really like that dress! She definitely does stick with the 'real person' fashion rather than the, say, Cate Blanchett approach to fashion.

Reese and her partner Sarah Harden will still be working on day to day operations. The company produces movies, television, and podcasts. And her book club is busier than Oprah's. Reese is busy. |

Her career in the past 7 years or so has really had a turnaround. She was doing some really crappy rom-coms for awhile there, but since she started optioning books and getting into producing? Very impressive. |

I cannot knock her hustle. But I was wondering what was going on with her company. They haven't updated the website in a long time, the marquee podcasts seemed to have stopped being produced in 2018-2019, and the book club moved to an app. Happy that she is cashing in but I am a little sad that a company that was started to tell more stories about women by women is now being sold private equity giant that was founded and run by two men (both former Disney Execs). I would imagine that those are going to change real quick. |

And her marriage is over. I don’t know anything about them, but that is sad. They’ve got a youngish son, right? I wonder if there’s someone else on the side? (For either of them). Classic late Friday afternoon dump of info.
And I just rediscovered her arrest video. I don’t think I ever actually saw it. Pretty funny. Her husband just kept trying to get her to stop talking. And she was saying, I’m an American citizen. Do you know who I am? Etc
