Jennifer Lopez says she’s asked her much younger boyfriend, Casper Smart, why he doesn’t find a woman closer to his own age to date.

The Jenny From The Block singer – speaking in this week’s issue of People – says she’s well aware that the couple’s 18-year age difference draws speculation. (She’s 43, he’s 25).

“I ask him, ‘Why don’t you go find a young girlfriend and get out of here? What do you want with me?’ And you think, ‘How long is this gone be?’ You think, ‘Okay, in 10 years I’m going to be like this and you’re going to be like that’ and … men at that age are … I think all different things. The truth is we don’t know what’s going to happen. We’re loving this moment right now. We make each other happy.”

Oh she did not seriously ask that. Yeah, gee, I can't imagine why a poor, fug 25 year old back-up dancer would want to get involved with a star.

I actually did have a moment when I felt sorry for her at the Globes. They cut to her face during some funny line, and she was laughing, but her eyes were sort of desperately searching the room at the same time to see how everyone else was reacting. She seems so desperate for approval, and so badly wants to fit in as more than just that gal in the naked dresses.

JLo is maybe looking for approval NOW when she knows the public has moved on from her and her peers have more respectful careers than her, including her ex Ben. She probably thought they were on the same boat after they broke up, ridiculed from Hollywood and the public but that they would both make a come back sooner or later. She tried to do prestigious with that El Cantante movie she made with Marc but she failed. 10 years later, Ben is doing very nice for himself while she’s playing second fiddle to Jason Statham, her albums have fizzled and she doesn’t have any other options available. Oh and she’s 43. More talented women struggle for parts in their 40s. I can imagine what Jlo is offered these days.

As for the article, is she THAT naïve? She actually thinks this guy will grow tired of her and dump her for a younger woman in 10 years? His meal ticket? I hope she’s not that stupid and is just setting the stage for breaking up with him soon and say that the age difference was a huge factor in that and that they wanted different things. Because if he is the one with the upper hand in this relationship, I feel bad for her. He is so unattractive. JLO with her 43 years can do so much better than that punk.

When you run to People to say you have no regrets. You have regrets. You don't get third billing in a Jason Statham movie, act as sit filler at award shows while your peers are there to pick up trophies, or play sugar mama to a twerp, without some self reflection about your life and career choices.

I would add that if the number one question and the topic of the majority of your cover stories have been about regret for nine years; you may need to take a seat and think over things.

I don't think she has any more movies in the can or offers for movies. I wonder what she will do to stay semi-relevant this next year. Maybe instead of a triathlon, she'll go climb Mount Everest.

I saw an interview with her where she claims that she could have stayed with American Idol if she wanted but thought it was time to focus on movies. When the stupid interviewer said that he would like to see her back on the big screen, she responded by saying that she wants to get back to that.

Did the interviewer and Jlo forget that Jlo was on the big screen recently in that flop comedy movie with Cameron Diaz and Chris Rock?

Nice try Jennifer. You probably thought that we forgot that you appeared in that flop movie by pretending you wanted to get back to doing movies.

And, the fact that the interviewer was telling her he wanted to see her back on the big screen underscores how forgettable that movie was.

I see she still has that stupid pride that she always had. Refuses to admit her flaws. Refuses to admit to her failures and always trying to do spin.
