I always kind of had a hard time believing the abuse rumors with Marc because it was hard to imagine her in that position. This was a woman who washed her hands of men when it suited her. However, this pathetic relationship makes those rumors seem more likely to be credible. It's one thing to be desperate in trying to hang on to someone of Ben Affleck's stature (someone who she also happened to be deeply in love with) but to be so desperate for a relationship that she dates this Casper dude makes me think that she may well have put up with abuse in addition to infidelity.

Newsday's review of Parker says that Jennifer's performance is 'nauseating' and that the entire movie sinks like a stone from the moment she appears on screen.

Another flop in a long list of flops for Jennifer. Her last "hit" if you can call it that, was in 2005 with Monster in Law with Jane Fonda. That's almost 8 years ago!! And, that movie only made 60 million, so it is a medium hit.

This is more proof that this "comeback" is an illusion.

While she has had more visibility in the past few years than she did before American Idol in the form of magazine covers, endorsements and other media activities, none of it has translated into record sales or movie tickets.

AI was a smokescreen, making us believe that she was a success again, when she really wasn't. Now, without AI's help to promote her album, I wonder how her next album will do.

Not that it makes much difference, but according to Deadline Hollywood, Parker is projected to make around $6 million this weekend. The $2 million figure is the Friday take.

At first I thought this latest defeat might make her take stock and finally disappear .... for awhile. But then I remembered that she has no dignity. She'll be stinking up the movie houses/Itune charts again before we know it.

Estimates are $7.2 million for Parker, but in a way I'm surprised that people didn't come out in droves to see Jennifer Lopez since she's been all over the place promoting the movie and exhibiting how beautiful she is. Plus she's strips to her underwear in the movie, but I guess regardless to how beautiful a celebrity may be, they can still loose their appeal as a movie star to the public.
