I can’t stand Jennifer Lopez, but I’ve never gotten any indication that Ben Affleck much likes or respects women. Maybe just quit getting married, Ben. Everyone will be happier, I suspect. JLo should knock it off, too.

It's not as if they're some new love who don't know all the details about each other. He went into this, full throttle, and chose to propose to her, to have 2 over the top weddings with her (where he also filmed himself and released images to the public). I actually think Ben is a very lost person who doesn't know what he wants. At least JLo doesn't hide it. She's very clear in wanting the glitz, glamour, attention, and fame.

Ben proclaims to want privacy- but he's the one rubbing her a$$ in music videos, he's the one releasing his own vid as he gets ready to marry her, he's the one who put out an ad in a major Hollywood paper proclaiming his adoration of her, he's the one taking part in her documentary (and then complaining about it after). He wants it too- and then he doesn't. He knew what he was signing up for.

Yeah, if he's miserable, that's on him. Ben knew exactly what he was getting into, JLo has been the same as she always was since they first met. She hasn't suddenly morphed into someone who loves the public eye. I think Ben thinks he should want to be married, but when the rubber meets the road and he's no longer #1 in the woman's eyes, he's bored again and blows it up.

Yeah, JLo gets flack for being in love with the early stages of romance, but Ben is obviously the same way. Dude love bombs his women and then immediately starts feeling trapped and resenting them when they commit.

The biggest warning sign with this marriage was Ben inscribing on his wedding ring, "Not going anywhere". He had to reassure himself and JLo that he wouldn't try to escape this time even though he's totally trying to escape right now. ("Not going anywhere" also cracks me up because of the blatant double meaning).

There were people who thought they were true love finally finding each other again, and that just seems so laughable.

JLo is GORGEOUS, but she's so different than him with different priorities. His priorities are gambling, nicotine, Dunkin', and existential dread. Hers are looking hot, getting attention, being in the public eye, and wearing a silvery icy dress to some fancy soiree.

Him for not seeing that her love of attention had not changed from the first time around. And for not figuring out that he's really not marriage material.

Her for taking him back after the way he dumped her the first time. And for putting her kids through this ordeal again. Her kids were so hurt when things ended with ARod. Why go out and date the single WORST possible man next? If only for her kids, she should have run like a bat out of hell.

I read an article with Ben and it reminded how much I used to like him in the nineties and how smart and articulate - and what a complete dumbass he is. He could have it all but he is his own worst enemy.

I just think it’s sad when you are a talented director, you have three great kids, you are a zillionaire with a lot of professional success and you still are a mess.

Work on yourself, Ben!
