Yeah, not gonna lie, I was rooting for them. And they probably needed to, in their minds, "fix" what they thought was a 20-yr mistake when they broke up in the early aughts.

It's official: Jenny has filed for divorce (and not on a summer Friday! Surprised she didn't hold out until the Friday of Labor Day weekend.) She filed for divorce on their anniversary. Cold! Best of luck to Bennifer with their next few marriages. I look forward to their next reunion in 2041. |

I'm actually surprised it lasted as long as it did. It would have been extremely impressive if they'd managed to make it work but it was never likely. I've been "enjoying" following along with their antics. Benifer 1.0 was one of my first forays into following gossip online with everyone else as a very young teenager (the other formative one being TomKat) so it was kinda nostalgic to see what would happen.
Both should probably be single for a while though and prioritise their kids and their own emotional wellbeing. Not sure that's going to happen though.

She got him down the aisle. Which was always the goal for her, IMO. She was more focused on that than the marriage.
Ben's PR is working overtime on this one.

Best of luck to Bennifer with their next few marriages. I look forward to their next reunion in 2041. Anything is possible with those two! But I just don't see him riding that roller coaster again. Honestly, the fact that he hasn't fallen off the wagon and/or ended up spending long nights in a casino makes me think he is happy to be done with it. I will give them some credit tho - they seem to be handling the relationships with the kids well. I've seen pics of Ben and JLo still involved with each other's kids, and even with Jennifer Garner. The way things seemed to go down with ARod's kids really made me sad. The video of Emme crying back then was just heartbreaking. |

On the divorce papers, she listed the date of separation as April 26.
Also, Jennifer filed the papers pro per, meaning without an attorney. She's been through so many she knows how to DIY a divorce by now.

(The answer, if you can't keep track either, is four, plus two engagements that didn't end in marriage.)
