So far not impressed. I'm sorry, I love Beek but you can't convince me that all these people are interested in Dawson's Creek 10 years after the fact.

Aw, we're kind of having fun with it (and the guy who played Chloe's dad is smoking hot -- wow!). The only weak spot, for me, is the woman who plays June, but I think she's supposed to give you that biting-on-tinfoil feeling because she's such a prudish drip. I thought, on reading about the show before seeing it, that I would despise Ritter's character, but she's doing a good job of making you simultaneously like her and want to throttle her.

My boyfriend auditioned for the role of the creepy neighbor. For that reason I kind of love this show.

Canceled. Fuck. ABC couldn't even be arsed to (a) show the eps they've shown in the correct order or (b) show the remaining eight eps at all. This is what I get for going back to them after they killed Better Off Ted.

That sucks. I just hope they release the unaired episodes in some form someday. But considering they never released season 2 of BOT on DVD I'm not holding my breath. Between this and Ben and Kate being cancelled in the same week, and Happy Endings being burned off, I am running out of comedies to watch.  |

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE:
The cast has announced that ALL 8 remaining "lost" episodes will go simultaneously live on ABC Online/Hulu/iTunes on May 17th!
That's less than a fortnight before the new season of Arrested Development comes out!
(Also, a very promising distribution model because I have been HELLA annoyed at ABC in the past for restricting 'Happy Endings' episodes to the ABC Player - I want to tell all my friends who have Hulu Plus or whatever to watch it but nope.)
I am mad that I ever kinda dismissed this show initially. Which, to be fair, I also did with Happy Endings.
I think sitcom ensembles and timing and comic tone may take a few episodes or a season to properly "gel."

Yay! I'm still pissed it got canceled but at least we can see the remaining episodes. There are still a few from the first season that haven't aired yet.
