I watched a preview of this last night. My friend had free tickets. I hadn't even heard of this movie, but it has a great cast, Maggie Smith, Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Tom Wilkinson, Dev Patel and more.
A group of English seniors end up together in India at the falling down hotel which is "for the elderly and beautiful". Most are there because India is less expensive. Some don't want to be there at all and resist the experience.
This was a beautiful, funny and entertaining movie. I highly recommend it!

My mom saw a preview of this (I can't remember which movie she was at the theater to see) and said the same thing based upon the trailer. I can't wait to see it, either!

My Mum & I and really want to see this. It's opening in limited release this weekend. I hope it does well enough that they open it wider.
I just love the cast.

I want to see this, but since I live in the backside of beyond it won't happen unless it gets wide release. Heck, even then I probably will have to go to the big city 30 miles away to see it.

I saw this over the weekend and I loved it! The script could have been a little tighter as not all of the storylines were well integrated and the Penelope Wilton character needed to be fleshed out but it was hilarious and all of the performances were top notch.

I saw this the other day, really sweet, gentle. Absolutely loved Tom Wilkinson.
Saw it in a full movie theatre - now I haven't seen that for a while!

I finally got a chance to see this. I really liked it. I hadn't realized it was based on a novel, but when I looked it up later, turns out that the book Mrs. Ainslie is reading in several scenes is by the same author.

Wow, a movie for grown-ups! How did this get greenlit? Good to see actors from Brit TV DVDs I've been buying on the big screen.

Saw it today. Loved it, loved it, loved it!
I did wonder, you have this movie with these wonderful British actors who look the age they are portraying because they haven't botoxed and facelifted themselves to death. What American actors could fill these roles now or in the future?
