He has some of the scariest fans on the internet. Yikes. I had to slowly push myself away from the computer when I stumbled upon a tumblr dedicated to bashing his now ex-gf. Holy mother of crazy! Every now and then though the insanity can be entertaining. When he and Dan Stevens (Matthew from Downton Abbey) exchanged some tweets that made it obvious that they are friendly and revealed Hiddleston watches DA the internet almost exploded. Some of those fangirls were practically jizzing themselves! |

Yeah, there are some fans who for some reason are 100% convinced that he is out and proud. And they totally flipped their shit when they found out he has a girlfriend. The hated directed at the lady he was dating was just... wow.

Who is his girlfriend? I do find it hilarious that he dated Kat Dennings and people are claiming they were only friends. There are pics of them at an event holding hands as a couple on the red carpet. People are delusional.

Not sure who is girlfriend is at the moment (he wisely doesn't go into details anymore) but he brought an actress named Susannah Fielding to one or two premieres last year and kissed her in front of the cameras. Which caused the initial fangirly breakdown in his fandom on Tumblr. Then one of the pics was labelled with "Tom Hiddleston and his wife..." which resulted in what's now known as Hiddlesgate '11 ;-) Fangirls claimed they were disappointed and of course there were those who started attacking the woman via Twitter, Tumblr (setting up hate blogs) and even Facebook. Absolute craziness.
You gotta admire him for the very sweet way he interacts with his fans on Twitter without going overboard with it. Recently a "fan" spammed him with pics of her wrist tattoo with his initials that she had made. Erm, yes for real. When he finally had to react, he did it in a really wonderful and wise way.

OMG, the meltdown when fans thought he was secretly married was epic.
I think he has a really sexy voice, but he doesn't do a lot for me otherwise.

I love that he takes any excuse to bust out an impression. His Owen Wilson is my favorite. I laughted at this way more than it actually deserves. And here's a write-up of a fan meeting him on the Avenger's set. He seems like such a nice guy. |
