I didn't mean Hiddleston was bad boy sexy, only that he was emphatically not sexy and trying way too hard to convince everybody that he was.

I watched "The Night Manager," and I found him boring and bland, not sexy at all, just kind of there.
However, I thought he was quite good in "I saw the Light."

Should I bother with Night Manager? I have like, six hours of episodes queued up, but haven't watched any. I really like Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy, for an example of my taste on le Carre literature revisited. (Btw, Cumberbatch voice was rubber knee worthy in TTSS.)

Not sure if I'd go as far as sexy, but he had something as Loki.

I really liked The Night Manager, but then again I am a Hiddleston fan. I loved TTSS as well.

And Crimson Peak. I just DVR'd that so I could ogle all the pretty. He plays a romantic lead very well, I hope the TS stuff fades away in time.
I thought Night Manager was slow, but I only watched the first 2 then freed up the space on my dvr. But I would finish it if it comes to Netflix or Prime, without commercials.

I didn't love the Night Manager; the plot was weak, and I thought Hiddleston was miscast as a "tough guy". He just screams toffee Etonian to me, who thinks it's so subversive to wear a Ramones shirt.

I thought it was slow and uneven. Each episode has one or two really good scenes and a lot of filler. The plot moves at a snail's pace. Watch it for Olivia Coleman and Elizabeth Debicki.

I hope the TS stuff fades away in time. Sure. Just not too quickly. That stuff was top shelf.
