Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp

This show starts June 19 on Lifetime. Why does this girl have a show?

It hasn't even aired. I have no plans to watch it. But I'm already SO over this girl. There was a "news story" on my email news about how Bristol was "attacked" by a "gay man" at a bar. Checking the story out, it turned out she was riding a mechanical bull for her show and someone (a man- gay or not was not made clear) shouted out "Did you ride Levi like that?" Then followed it with "Your mother's a whore!" She went to confront him (with cameras rolling natch) and said he had no right to say such a thing and could he give her an example of her mother being such a thing. He just said "Your mother's an evil person. You don't deserve your own show!"
She then went off crying, saying she wanted to go home and it was so humilating with all the cameras around.

Erm, ok. Random dude was rude no doubt. But the cameras being around was because- It's HER show! Really, what in the world did she expect when she started this thing? For everyone she met to be loving, awe inspired Tea Party folks who wanted to praise her mother and throw rose petals down at her feet? Is she really that naive?

Yeah, I know it hasn't aired yet, but I'm already tired of it. Lifetime is really reaching to think this girl is someone anybody would care about. Of course, there's Lindsay as Liz. And it's summer.

I cannot stand Bristol Palin and I don't understand the interest in her at all, but I have to say that this is a beautiful photo. Little Tripp is a cutie, and Bristol is very attractive. I thought she was cute before she had her corrective jaw plastic surgery, too. /shallow

This show will have as much success as the previous Palin reality show, which is to say none at all.

This entire family needs to go away.

She's getting sued by the guy in the bar because he claims that he did not give permission to be filmed, or sign any release forms.

Interesting. I know they have to have folks' permission to show their face, but I figured he gave permission because he was proud of calling Sarah Palin a whore on national TV. Normally I don't condone such behavior, but I have to admit if I were in a bar with Sarah Palin, I'd have an extremely hard time keeping my middle finger from saluting her.

It wasn't nice to go after her daughter. But again, if Bristol's going to keep sticking her face on TV, making asinine statements and trying to be famous for being famous- she's gonna have to expect the common population to get irritated with her. And let her know it.

p.s. Heck yeah Tripp has a total Village of the Damned thing going on. Here's hoping he'll be the generation to break the family famewhore pattern.

I don't know why people continue to take Sarah seriously on political matters when it's clear that she and her family are a bunch of famewhores.

As for the incident in the bar, yeah, the guy was kinda rough on her. But Bristol was hardly a little boo-boo kitty about it - she got right up in the guy's face and told him that he only hates her mom because he's a homosexual (I remember she was wearing a sweatshirt with a cross on it, good little Christian soldier that she is). She should have ignored the guy but she just fanned the flames and made the situation worse.
