Neighbor Lady (who looked awfully familiar) had about as much right to complain about moving next to a recording studio in The Haight Asbury as a neighbor complaining of the noise in Times Square. Know your surroundings!
Next week is looking tough to watch.

True, and she had to be such a bitch about it. Although, if her condo has a parking spot and the studio's customers are parking in it, she has a right to be ticked. But in typical Parenthood style, the two sides can't have a rational discussion; they have to yell and overtalk and blow things out of proportion, just to create drama. A normal business person would say, "Sorry, we'll put up a sign indicating where our customers can park" and then do that. I'm not a fan of a business being allowed to get away with shit just because the Grateful Dead were there once.
However, someone at TWOP said she does the voice of Bobby Hill from King of the Hill, so now that's all I hear.

Yeah, that resolution was a bit much with all the local artsy folks coming to bat for them.
She was also on Californication and Louis CK's cable show. She is soo funny. Being just straight up bitchy does not do that actress justice. I'm just glad Crosby didn't sleep with her or something.
So next week. That looks brutal and not one bit fun.

I loved this week's episodes storylines about Julia's family and watching Amber's boyfriend's struggles. On the other hand, every single second of the Sarah storyline was horrendous. They should just spin Sarah off on to her own show. Her storylines are always self-involved and separate from the rest of the show. And Lauren's cutsey act just doesn't work on this show at all.

I love Lauren Graham, but the cutesy bit gets a bit uncomfortable when the person hits middle age. The fast-talking, flakey, live-for-the-moment schtick is okay when you're younger (although it was even a bit much for the 30-something Lorelai Gilmore). But as a 40-ish woman? Just no. Grow up.

Neighbor Lady also played Dolores Rebchuck in Grease 2. Haha.

I know that Maura Tierney was supposed to be Sarah...I think maybe I would have liked her more? Don't get me wrong, I like Lauren Graham well enough but I feel like I can see her "acting." That said, her character is annoying and emotionally immature, so maybe it would not matter who played her.
peagirl, ha! I need to revisit that movie.

I like Maura Tierney well enough, but find her general demeanour to be kind of whipped dog-like. The character of Sarah is unlikable enough that if such a negative actor was portraying her, it would be even worse. I think Sarah keeps from being completely unlikable because she takes a lot of fandom from Gilmore Girls. And I think Graham makes a better mother-daughter match to Amber than Tierney would.
I’ve already seen tonight’s episode, and well, I’m glad there was a Christmas Parenthood ep. Was that the first one?

It's a convoluted Christmas Miracle!!! But most of it worked since it's Christmas.
However, I suggest we do not discuss Sarah so that we don't pull all our hair out before Christmas. Oy!!!
