True confession : This is one of the movies this fall I'm most looking forward to seeing. I'll pretty much watch Taken whenever I come across it on cable.

I love Liam Neeson, and have since I was a kid. However. Quite a few of the movies he's made since Taken are very similar. Was Taken 2 (The Takening! as MrL calls it), really necessary?

Taken 2 (The Takening! as MrL calls it) BWAH! Jon Stewart said the same thing the night before last when he interviewed Liam. I can't wait to see this, too. I don't know what it was about the first one, but maybe it was the pace. It was a just a constant movement from what moment to the next and all the fight/action scenes. Just pure adrenaline. And the "I have a particular set of skills..." speech is just iconic. Heh |

She's a little better in this one, though not by much.
Neeson kicks ass with style in it, so I'm a happy camper.

Truth be told, I think Liam Neeson is one of the hottest guys in Hollywood. Just something about him. I liked the movie. Suspenseful.

It fulfilled my expectations; to see Taken (Light version) with Liam Neeson kicking ass all over the place, and much less plot. He is super effective in these roles, and quite affable in interviews.
