The Dana character really only worked in season one when she was the only person who got somewhat through to crazy terrorist Brody. But for some reason the writers think that Dana is compelling enough to carry her own storylines when Brody isn't around. Sadly, she isn't. She's truly become Homeland's Kim Bauer.

Don't these producers watch tv? Pregnancies never end well on episodic - there's no way around it. You either saddle a character with a baby or you have a convenient miscarriage. And word to whoever brought up that this casts a disastrous light on the forced hospitalization long con. This season is descending rapidly into "WTF?" territory. And hello? Why have we abandoned Brody in Venezuela? Next season should just spin off and become the "Saul and Dar Adal Show." I'd watch that.

Yep, typical mom: give your unstable daughter a credit card and peace out, don't get an addy, a phone number... Who needs the hassle? I don't even know what the brother's voice sounds like anymore.
Unless she was having fertility issues, the # of pregnancy tests Carrie had was absurd. She's bipolar, not loony tunes.
Re: hospital, my only thought about bloodwork & meds was that Saul somehow fudged that, as this was such a long con and all. But it really doesn't track.

Omg, Saul locking Lockhart in the conference room was one of the best things I've ever seen on the show and completely unexpected. Go Saul! It makes me worry about what that ass Lockhart will do for revenge, though.

That was hilarious. They so need to do a Saul/Dar Adal spin-off, it would be awesome.

I was kind of confused by Dar Adal's change of heart. I don't trust him for a second. And Lockhart is just a cartoon villain.
I'm convinced now that Quinn has feelings for Carrie.

I think last night's episode was my favorite of the season!!! I still can't believe that Quinn shot Carrie. My friend was like, "WHY would he do that?!" and I told her that I figured he knew if he didn't someone else would, so he thought it would be safest for him to take the shot and make sure it wasn't a deadly one. But that shoulder could have easily been her head with a one-second move... geez. Scary. Dammit, Carrie!!
I totally saw that coming with Saul's wife's boyfriend, at least I did after she had that meeting with him. He seemed VERY suspicious.
And then Saul showing up for Brody. OMG. I can't wait for next week!!!

Yeah, last night's episode was definitely the best of the season so far.
I wonder if Carrie will lose the baby as a result of getting shot. That would provide a convenient solution to an unnecessary storyline.
I can't imagine Brody will be keen on doing anything for the CIA after what he's been through.

I really enjoyed this episode, too. Though I've got to laugh when Carrie's all "Brody's innocent!". Carrie, the Langley bombing is like the one crime he didn't commit ;-)

Loved the last episode and the reveal of the long con a few episodes back! So glad Dana is gone, and that Saul went and bought Brody. I'm a little in love with Quinn's intense and handsome ass, and I think he has feelings for Carrie too. Seems like it's one-sided though. I'll comfort you, Quinn! The pregnancy surprised me, but Saul's wife's boyfriend status totally didn't. I also figured that Javadi was going to kill his wife, but the method was extremely shocking. I cringed hard core.
