Those are some well behaved dogs! And I had to laugh when Chrissy walked in.

I just found a video of a pit bull puppy shaking its head, and now I'm obsessed. I made screen caps, and printed out pictures to place on my vision board. I know this has nothing to do with celebrities and their pets, but I just wanted to share. I'll always have a soft spot for folks who are kind to animals.

Anna Faris was fined $5,000 after she gave away her adopted dog and it was found emaciated and wandering the streets. Daily Mail. You can scroll down for the instagram from the shelter berating Anna.

OMG I have hated Anna Faris and her potato-faced husband ever since they gave away their elderly cat on Twitter. Please, please let these two horrible people be blacklisted by every shelter in LA, they clearly cannot be trusted to care for an animal once it loses its novelty.

They gave away their cat on Twitter?!
Clearly these two don't care who their pets go to after they decide they are done with them.
I really hate that mindset. Unless circumstances arise where you can no longer care for your pet (physical/financial problems, etc), you are in it for the rest of that pet's life. If you can't make that commitment, don't get a pet. And if circumstances beyond your control pop up and you can no longer care for the pet, at the very least make sure it goes to someone you know and trust or to an organization who will thoroughly vet the next person who gets them. Most rescue groups have a "just give them back, no questions asked" policy if you decide you can't take care of them anymore. That's what happened with my dog's previous owner. He was someone who had just moved to the area and was homesick and lonely and thought a dog would solve his problems. After about 4-6 weeks he figured out he didn't have it in him to take care of a dog, and he gave him back. No questions were asked, they were able to directly turn the dog around and give him to me so he didn't have to go back to the kennel, and now he spends his days thinking he owns my bed. Worked out great for everyone (except me when I try to kick him off my bed every night. The struggle is real). Don't just hand them over to some rando.
