And now he and Alison are both accidental murderers. Considering how screwed up Alison is she will probably find this comforting and sweet. Well, when he gets home with the car she can wash wash wash away the blood.

Well...later, Dr. Leekie. I would make a "headroom" joke, but it would be too easy. I don't enjoy Michelle Forbes that much, but we'll see where this goes.
Cal is too bizarrely understanding. He's gotta have some sort of secret.
Vic is good comic relief. Felix is, as always, awesome.

I could be missing something, but since these clones have been such a huge deal for Dyad- that they patented the girls, I don't understand why someone wasn't monitoring them from day one. Not just Rachel, but all of them. And how could Dyad not know about Sarah/Helena? Especially if Mrs. S. was involved with Leekie and Professor Duncan? I realize Amelia hid them, but when the show started Dyad/prolethians/neolutionists didn't seem to know much about Sarah or Helena. Doesn't this strike anyone as odd? The more I think about it, the more it starts to bother me as weak storytelling. It seems like Alison has been monitored the longest (aside from Rachel), but Donnie never knew people were breaking into his house and performing tests on his wife??? That doesn't seem plausible. The chick from Germany didn't seem to have anyone monitoring her (that we know of.. but she was the red-shirt clone, so to speak). Beth had hot Paul monitoring her, but only for 2 years. Cosima only had someone monitoring her when Delphine entered the picture. I mean, wouldn't a lead scientist KNOW how many test-tube clones were created? Did they just randomly give these baby girls to strangers to raise? It seems like Dyad is sort of like Massive Dynamic (Fringe), or Jacob (Lost), in that they are all knowing about the subject at hand. And yet, as the story has unfolded, they just seem to randomly learn about clones... who've all conveniently landed in Toronto... I just don't buy it. I still love the show to pieces, but if I start thinking closely about things, it starts to fall apart for me. OKay, rant over.

I still love the show to pieces, but if I start thinking closely about things, it starts to fall apart for me. OKay, rant over. To be fair, we don't know for sure they haven't been monitored from day one. Clone Club doesn't know so we don't know. My guess is they have been monitored from day one and their first monitors were their parents. Most likely the parents were infertile couples who were desperate for a child and were willing to do anything to get one. The clones have only recently learned they are clones and the realization they had monitors is even more recent. So they really have no way of knowing how long they have been monitored. But admittedly what is typed above is mostly head canon. The producers have never denied the theory but won't confirm it either. So, it's possible things like this will come up later (assuming S3 happens). But here is another monitor thing to ponder. How could Dyad know Beth take to Paul? How could Dyad know Alison would end up digging Donnie? That's an awfully big gamble to take! I wouldn't be shocked if there are periods the clones went unmonitored simply because a clone didn't click with a would be monitor. It's a minor plot hole but it's still one. But hey virtually every sci-fi show has them. OB does a pretty good job of covering up theirs. I feel the show has explained why Dyad doesn't know much about Helena and Sarah. They approaching Amelia, Amelia got pregnant and soon her spidey senses kicked in, and she bolted. Leekie did know about Helena. It was Sarah he was unaware of. Amelia ran off before Dyad learned she was carrying twins so they didn't know they were supposed to be looking for two girls.

I'm totally nitpicking this, but if I found out I was a clone, the first call I'd make would be to my parents- or another relative! Sarah doesn't count, but do we know about Alison or Cosmia? As for Beth "taking" to Paul, did you see Paul? I would be all over that in a heartbeat I think Donnie said in the last episode that he and Alison knew each other in high school, and he was approached by Dyad when they were in college.

Tatiana continues to find new ways to impress me.
Her scene as Sarah pretending to be Alison pretending to be Donnie was perfect.

Donnie better bury that body, then drive that car into some deep lake or swamp and call it in as stolen. No way they are getting all of Dr. Leekie out of that car.

My first thought was, ugh, they're never getting that out of the pockets inside the car door. In retrospect, the shooting reminded me--in a similar, darkly humorous way--of the shooting in Pulp Fiction.

ETA- I just read The Envelope's take on where the Emmy's are heading. Not looking good for Tatiana. Only 2 industry insiders think she has a shot at a Best Actress nomination. Most still think OB is too outside the mainstream to garner attention. I really hate the Emmys.
