The 2nd episode leaked online, so I watched both back to back. I was meh on the season opener because it has the clone dude. Tatiana is still awesome. I'm still team Alison, but I just didn't feel it through the first two episodes. Clone boy is still all kinds of creepy.

I felt like the premiere was a refresher on who's who, and what's what. How many times are they going to draw from the same well of Sarah and/or Allison pretending to be another clone/sister. I'm already sick of the male clone story-line. Delphine was pretty scary with Rachel. I forgot how much I missed Helena, but the stuff with the scorpion in the box was pretty damn weird, even for her.

I loved the trippy baby shower scene at the beginning, seeing the clones interact. Great work by Tatiana again.

This show!!! It really has me on the EDGE of my seat with the tension in some of the scenes, I almost can't stand it. I kept waiting for the hammer to drop when Sara was being Rachel with the creepy guy. Maslany is so freaking good in this role.
Love seeing Allison and her husband banding together to take down the local school politician. That will be fun to watch.
Delphine is complex, not sure where her loyalties lie at any moment.

Over the one-note male clones. They are all a bunch of creepy killers.
Allison continues to be my fave. Donnie has all the makings of a serial killer, except he lacks the drive to do it. I can't wait for the school board elections. I hope Felix is her campaign manager.
Helena & the scorpion were a little too trippy for me. I like Helena crazed and kicking ass or bonding with her seestra.
Sarah has been on/off with me. I hated her storyline last season with Cal. But I almost lost a contact rolling my eyes at her hypocrisy about Mrs. S's decision to hand Helena over for Kira. As if! Sarah wasn't making unilateral decisions last season without a bit of consideration for her sisters. Have a seat, Sarah!
Delphine is often a miss to me, but that torture bit with Rachel actually showed some personality.
Felix was Felix, but I needed more of him.

Ok, that opener was beyond creepy but I believe that was intentional. Why on Earth were they interested in the woman though? She's not a clone. I did appreciate the little skewer towards police attitudes towards rape. Because yeah just because she consented to sex with Rudy doesn't mean she wanted to sleep with Seth. Art's face said it all about how the police treated her though.
Cackling forever Helena calls the Castor clones "Mark faces"! Though yikes! Once Sarah learns all Helena has been through she might just kill Paul or some Castor clones! That water boarding scene was brutal! And she's pregnant? Well, it will be interesting to see if Helena has a convenient miscarriage or gives the baby to one of her seestras to raise. Helena has no business being a mother at this point in her life.
Alison is taking over her dealer's turf. Of course she is! Though it is very Alison in many ways. Donnie looked oddly proud when he realized Alison was planning on using the pill popping soccer moms to win the election. Those two are so FUBAR yet kinda adorable. It's really weird. Donnie is a moron but he's an endearing one.
Ok, I'm glad Cal peaced out to Westeros because he makes Sarah stupid. Did she really think she could come after Dyad and be allowed to live a white picket fence existence with Cal and Kira? And again, I'm still not buying Sara/Cal's relationship. Sarah screwed Cal over, comes crashing back into his life with a daughter and crazed killers on her tail, basically turns his life upside down, and I'm supposed to believe he wants to them be a happy family unit? Seriously?! Sarah who runs from responsibility wants to play house with a guy for all intents and purposes she's known for a little over a month? Then again, Cal's conversation with Paul made it clear Cal isn't being honest with Sarah. I don't think Cal is dangerous but it was nice to learn the wide eyed Bambi look is a bit of an act.
Rudy killing Seth was actually surprising! Not surprised the Castor clones are having rage issues though. I'm also predicting the Castor line has mommy issues.

I love that Alison is going into the drug business (Whaaat? Did I just write that?) She's still the most interesting clone to me. Her relationship with Donnie is great. And I totally want Felix to be her campaign manager.
I guess they're really going to make hot Paul the bad guy (which makes me sad), and I don't buy the Sarah/Cal relationship. The guy definitely has secrets. As noted above, Cal's only known Sarah for a very short time, and he's taking this new life change very, very well.
As for the male clones, do we know who the original clone is? Mark from season 2? I really hope future episodes don't continue to rage filled, one-note performances.
Helena's water torture was brutal, and I wish she wasn't the only clone to be brutalized. The girl's got to have some good luck come her way.

A lot of people online are yelling at Helena for abandoning Sarah but really I get it. It certainly hurt to watch but I completely get where Helena is coming from. First off, Sarah would have slowed Helena down. Sarah simply does have the necessary survival skills to escape and make a trip in the desert. Secondly, why should Helena believe a word Sarah says. Yeah, Sarah is telling the truth but it's understandable why Helena doesn't believe her. Sarah has used Helena on more than one occasion. Sarah has turned on the tears before to manipulate Helena. Is it really hard to understand why Helena is buying what Sarah is selling? It's obvious their connection isn't completely severed because Helena did hesitate to leave Sarah when it came time to jump the fence. But hey compassion is what prevented her escaping last week so I can't blame her for deciding she's not making that mistake again.
If the show is going in the, "Paul is doing all these horrible things because he feels a connection and responsibility to the Castor clones" route then the show needs to start having Paul actually interact with the Castors. I can certainly buy he's a formed a bond of sort with them and wants to help them. But show me this bond writers! Don't just have Paul tell us about it! His defense of his actions to Sarah fell sort of flat, even though he made some good points, because we haven't really seen him interact with the Castors beyond those tests with Rudy and Seth.
Shay seems sweet. So naturally she'll either be dead by the end of the season or revealed to be evil. Sweet doesn't last long on this show. Still, glad to see Cosima putting herself out there. Wallowing over Delphine just isn't healthy.
Gracie really can't catch a break can she?

Sarah talks a good game about loving her sisters, but she's had her selfish moments too. And...Helena has been on the receiving end of those decisions. I totally understood her leaving Sarah behind. I even understood Paul, to a point. I don't understand the connection to the Castors. I'm going to need more. Is he like Delphine? In that he formed an attachment to the Castors through continued association. Or is he like Leakey (and god, how I miss him)? And he's obsessed with their genetics. All I know is every Castor could drop dead and I wouldn't miss a single one. Not even Mark.
Good for Cosima for getting back in the dating game. I like Kensia Solo, so good or bad, I'm happy she's on the show.
Poor Grace. She was doing so well with Siobhan and Felix, and now she's sick. Obviously, Castor peen is poisonous.
