Didn't Kira heal miraculously? Maybe that's why Sarah is so special. She (and Helena) can't be killed?

Didn't Kira heal miraculously? Maybe that's what Sarah is so special. She (and Helena) can't be killed? That's why I wasn't too surprised when Helena popped up again - Kira got smacked by a car and bounced right back. I figured there may be something special about the clones, and maybe specifically Sarah. I'm glad Helena is alive, I enjoy her brand of crazy. I love how twisted Alison is, and my favorite line was after the flower delivery: "Alison, you know some weird people." The suburbs are way more effed up than the city.

So Helena and Sarah are mirror twins. The tumblr community have posted several photos of Helena and Sarah for S1 that show that yes Helena is a leftie and Sarah is a rightie. So props to the writers for thinking ahead and leaving little hints.
Mrs. S and Sarah were giving me some serious feels last night! Mrs. S clearly has some deep dark secrets but I do believe she truly loves Sarah and Kira. As soon as she realized she made a big mistake in turning to her old friends she did all she could to insure Sarah and Kira could escape. Can't wait to learn more about her Project Leda connections. I don't think she's the woman in the photo though. I actually kinda like the theory Mrs. S is the original.
Mrs. S's traitor friend asked Siobhan who were these children she brought into their lives. At first I thought traitor friend was referring to Sarah and Kira but after thinking about it I wonder if she was actually referring to Felix and Sarah. Kira technically isn't a Project Leda child. Could Felix also be a clone? Or could he part of another science experiment?
Oh poor Alison! She messed up big time and she knows it! And now she's alone! Cosima has Delphine. Sarah has Felix and Kira. Alison has got no one she can confide in. And she's back to boozing and popping pills. She just broke my heart when she begged Felix not to leave her!
New Prolethean leader guys scares me more than Tomas. Tomas was clearly a nutcase. But new guy? On the surface he sounds somewhat reasonable. But scratch below the surface and his beliefs are just as crazy.

Yay! Michiel Huisman! (see avatar) And he's Kira's daddy!
Also, creepy religious cult is creepy. *shudder*

As I was watching the episode I thought, "So, is this cult guy going to 'marry' Helena to give himself permission to rape her whenever he wants in an effort to produce a clone baby?" Then "Yes. Yes he is. This is disturbing as hell." I hope when Helena gets her strength back she murders him in a totally horrible way and his pretty red-headed daughter helps her escape.

Yes he is. This is disturbing as hell." I hope when Helena gets her strength back she murders him in a totally horrible way and his pretty red-headed daughter helps her escape. I was saying out loud "Nope. Nope. No. They are not going there.... DAMNIT!" during those scenes. The red headed daughter is interesting. I get the sense her only protest is her dad is attempting to have children with a clone. Marrying a fragile woman to justify sleeping/raping her? It's God's will! That woman happens to be a clone? Well now you've just gone too far! Also, Henrick's going on about how Helena is special because she could potentially have children is rather relevant in today's political climate. I'm not sure I 100% buy Cal is Kira's dad. It's certainly possible and hey props to the writers if they decided not to drag it out, but it's a little too neat. The closest Sarah ever came to confirming this was telling Cal, "The math adds up! She's yours!" Even Sarah didn't sound 100% confident. I can easily see Sarah using Kira to convince an rich ex to help her out. She knows Cal is a decent guy (or at least as far as she knows he is) and decent guys are probably not going to kick a little girl out of bed in the middle of the night. Also, if Cal is truly a decent guy then we might as well go ahead and prepare his burial plot. Decent people don't last long on this show. Sarah and Felix's confrontation just broke my heart! Once again, Sarah more or less decided to abandon Felix. Can't really blame him for deciding to go back to Alison. Though I do appreciate the show doesn't shy away from the fact that while Sarah isn't a bad person she really isn't good either. I don't doubt she loves Kira and Felix but she is self-centered and can be rather manipulative. Oh Alison! When Cosima said break a leg she didn't mean literally! Luckily Felix is back and he will hopefully help Alison get herself together.

Yes, I'm glad Alison and Felix are back together. Lonely and needy Alison is not as much fun. Last week, I howled at "I don't think that's my sacrum". I'm not sure how I felt about this episode, mainly because the creepy cult storyline got a little too creepy. I'm not really feeling that subplot. But if Helena puts the smackdown on them, that will more than make up for it. There was minimal action this week but next week looks like it will be awesome.

This episode was all over the place. I was live blogging with another friend and we were genuinely disappointed. Best part was Felix and Allison.
Sarah reminded me why I didn't like her at first.
Could have done without the Cosima plot. That should have been explored in another ep.
Creepy cult is creepy. Helena is going to kill them all.
Art and Angie are toast.

I agree, I think Angie will be toast or has a big smack down coming. Her awkwardness in trying to befriend Allison just shows how out of her league she is with the other players.
...speaking of which, how many other sides are there? There is Team Science, with the Institute and Dr. Leaky (is he the top guy there?) and Delphine and the hard as nails clone, forgot her name. Then there is Team Church Farm, with the cult family, Helena's former keeper (are there more from his following?), and a zonked out Helena for the time being. The guy who abducted Sara and shot the sheriff, is he part of Team Science or another faction altogether? I am a bit confused!
I was sad to see Sara and Felix part ways for the moment, but I think it made sense for the characters. She has left him in the dust one too many times it would seem. He has a new, shinier version of his friend in Allison who needs him and isn't going anywhere. He is a homebody, really, just like Allison; he has a cool loft where he can create his art and have friends over just like Allison has a suburban craft room and block parties. They can trade Xanaxes, glitter application secrets, and compare notes on their latest performance/show.

They can trade Xanaxes, glitter application secrets, and compare notes on their latest performance/show. The guy who shot the sheriff is Danny, Rachel's (aka ProClone) minion. So he's on Team Evil Science. I believe there's basically two opposing factions. Dyad is on the science side. Church Farm is part of the Proletheans. They are the ones that are against science. Though it appears Church Farm has a slightly more science friendly view. There's also Project Leeda which is also on the side of science but I don't if it's been stated if it was part of Dyad or if that's entirely separate faction. Though I think it's safe to say Ms. S knows plenty about it. And yeah there is no way Angie and Art are both getting through this season alive. Right now my money is on Angie biting it. She doesn't have the advantage of knowing about the clones or just how dangerous these organizations are like Art does. BTW, I don't get Angie's rants about Art letting Beth down and needing to get justice for Beth. Beth killed herself. It's on video. Angie has seen the video. Sarah did not kill Beth. So I don't get why Angie behaves as if Sarah is responsible for Beth's death. Yes, Sarah stealing Beth's identity was crappy but Angie acts as if Sarah is crazed violent person who will kill at random.
