Let's discuss the gorgeous and brilliant Luther! I clapped with joy when I saw the previews with Ruth Wilson.

I've just finished Season Two - whoa, that was heavy viewing.

And,once again, Mr Elba is a fine, fine looking man.

Holy sh*t, I just finished ep 3, season 3. There are such lags between seasons I have to start over on season 1 again (more Idris for me!).

At the moment--well, a long, since The Wire moment--Idris Elba is my permanent dreamboat.

I need to go back and watch season one again. I only vaguely remember how his wife died. The Scottish cop overly invested in nailing Luther for being a bad copper. There must be some history between them.

I have heard rumours of a Luther movie. That works for me.

I shouldn't have read this cuz I just started Season 1...but oh well.

Anyway, are the other seasons...so clunky? The dialogue is a bit over the top, even for this type of show. The way John and Alice interact is like a Sophia Coppola movie. It's weird and doesn't fit this show, imo.

Oh no, me too! I have had this on my Netflix list forever and keep meaning to start it. I hope that wasn't a huge spoiler lol.

So it is worth watching? I started with MI-5 (love it and have remained unspoiled into season three so far) and The Good Wife (kind of know what is going to happen but still very much enjoying it - also tremendously impressed by lead actress's eyebrow grooming) a couple of months ago, not sure if I will be able to squeeze this one in before classes begin in the Fall. But I really want to.

Just watched series 3! Now that's how you do a (mini)series of eps! Entertaining with no lag (I'm looking @ you Hounds of Baskerville & The Blind Banker). God Idris Elba & Ruth Wilson have the best motherfucking chemistry.

Yes they are finished with the TV show but there is talk of a movie.

I love Alice & Luther together.
