Ender's Game

I saw this last night and was definitely underwhelmed. I enjoyed the book many years ago, and reread it recently. (I didn't actually pay for it, though. Let's just say it was donated anonymously) I found the movie for me lacked the despair and loneliness that Ender felt at Battle School. Younger son was with me. He hadn't read the book and didn't really enjoy it either.

Late to the game, but I watched it last night, hadn't read the book. I totally did not see the ending coming, so they nailed it there, and was still in slight wtf mode when the second ending happened, sending me Into full WTF?! mode. I grabbed my iPhone to read spoilers, and the first one I ran into predicted that virgin viewers would be surfing google for answers.

Conjecture is that that last bit was a sequel set up, and would have been hidden in the credits in a Marvel movie.
