I believe it since her dad spilled the beans and is now trying to backpedal. Poor guy isn't media savvy at all.
If it's a boy/girl combo and the girl comes first, does that mean she will rule? I couldn't remember if Monaco's laws of inheritance were changed when Rainier's mother was legitimized so he could take the throne. Wasn't Caroline in line until Albert was born? And she lost her place when she married Hanover, hence her children being heirs.

I don't believe the twins thing (and won't until an official announcement or presentation of two babies), but one of the dumb idle curiosities of my life has been, 'what happens in a monarchy with absolute primogeniture* if twins are born?' The simple answer is, "the firstborn, doy" but what happens to the second born? WHAT THEN? It's some Abel and Cain shit, yo. *Assuming both are boys, of course. According to Hollywood, he gets locked in a tower and forced to wear a mask 24/7. I could have sworn one of the smaller european houses had a set of twin boys with the oldest set to inherit the throne, but I couldn't find it on the Wikipedia list of royal twins. Maybe I was confusing it with that Leo movie.

The succession in Monaco is listed as male-preference cognatic primogeniture, so technically a woman could inherit the throne if there were no other legitimate direct descendants. Caroline's sitch with Ernst does complicate things, but she's still technically the heiress, and then Andrea and then Sacha. ETA: I think James II of Scotland would be an example. He became king because his older twin brother died.

This is the least excited I've ever been about a royal baby. Or two.

I'm excited for Charlene's sake. She's seemed like a lost person ever since her wedding. I feel like once she does her "duty", she can divorce him, move somewhere else, whatever. Or spend her time taking care of her baby (who is suggesting twins?). At least she'll have something to focus on.

Well, good luck to her. Don't really care about him.

Finally feeling well enough to attend events. At the Red Cross gala in Dior and bling. She looks lovely and very pregnant in profile.

Wow, pregnancy agrees with her! She looks so pretty. I love the diamond flower hairband.
And that's about all I have to say about these two! They seem rather dull, hope that means they are happy.

There's an interesting article about Monaco and Charlene in the Daily Beast, and it's rather sympathetic to her. Among other things, I did not know Albert stammered when he speaks French.
