SO OT, but say what? I'm in that airport at least six times a year and I've never seen those! (There are a bunch if you Google it.) I also read they painted over them. I HATE that horse out front. The eyes do, indeed, glow red. I've been told it's supposed to represent the horse from the Denver Broncos, but, weird. There's a big mural of the USA on the inside. I wonder if that painted over one of the creepy ones. I had a long wait on my kids a couple months ago, so I took a bunch of pictures of the floor (on some of the tiles they have impressions) to send to my friend. There were farm animals and random things that neither of us could figure out. It was amusing, but strange. A lot of writing that's supposed to be Native American on them.

There are pretty things in there, though. Silver pinwheels when you take the train and watercolor cranes hanging from the ceiling in some places. This thing was friggin' weird, too. (Cropped out my kids.) Supposedly it was designed by some youngins? Oh-kay. And then the weird towers on top of the building that are supposed to be mountains. If those damned things are supposed to be mountains, then someone did a piss poor job of designing them. I'm going to have to look when I'm there in a couple weeks. I'll report back. haha. Oh. Here's a good page about it. (I always call it "The Illuminati Airport" when I talk to my dad - he was a building inspector - and I get a huge eye roll.)

Back to True Detective! I'm on episode four and one of my friends said shit gets real after this and to absolutely not watch the last episode before I go to bed. haha. I can't wait! (But she watches a lot of weird crap, too, so I'll probably watch it in the daytime.) Did y'all think it was that scary?

It's not that it was scary, you'll stay up all night rewatching a certain scene, and then marathoning the rest of the show!

There was a rumor flying around Twitter this morning that Jessica Chastain was in talks for season 2 but they've already been shot down. she would have been amazing (not that I am biased or anything).

It's not that it was scary, you'll stay up all night rewatching a certain scene, and then marathoning the rest of the show!

It's not terrifying, but the images in the show are so potent that it did tend to be seared into my brain after watching an episode. I always watched before I slept though, and it was fine.

Just reporting back in to tell you guys I watched the final episode and didn't have nightmares. haha.

The Tiffany box at the end was adorable. I'm sad it's over, now! Dammit. Those two were good together.
