I thought Leslie Mann acted well, but in the first parts her character was completely insufferable, and all over the place. She acted like a 12 year old, or someone who is mentally challenged in some way. Then she got better.
First time I in a while I thought Cameron looked good. The past few movies I have seen her in, I thought she looked rough. Here she looked older, sure, but good, I thought. And I loved her wardrobe as well.
Could have been a good story, a First Wives Club or She-Devil kind of thing, but it wanted to do too much. Their main flaw is that they never took the time to set up the characters, but relied on cliches. Leslie Mann wears frumpy nightgowns and doesn't shave her legs, so she is the wife. Cameron has a lot of lovers and is described as cold, so she is (naturally) the driven career woman. And althogh I love Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, they never showed me any of that charm he would need to land all these women.
Kate Upton was cute. I called her ending as soon as she met Carly's dad, but the audience gasped at that reveal, so I guess I was the only one.
