It was after. I was going to see the Who in Cleveland on the tour that was cancelled after Moonie died. That tour never even went on sale. Cincinnati was during the first tour with Kenny Jones. The band was not told until after the show, because the authorities knew they'd cancel, and the crowd might have done more damage at that point. That is one of the reasons Pete was so affected by it. That episode of WKRP is still one of the best 'very special episodes' ever.

Oh man, that's awful. I honestly don't think I'd be able to cope with it if I were her. It's 100% not her fault that this happened, but even knowing that, I wouldn't be surprised if there is some kind of underlying guilt about being the reason that those people were gathered in that place at that time. Like, if I called someone for a ride and they were killed in a car accident on their way to get me, that would eat me up. The accident wouldn't be my fault, but I would be tortured by the fact that the person was only in that particular spot because of me.

I normally detest Ariana Grande and her soulless eyes creep me out, but I can't say a word other than that about her in this tragic situation.

I'm no fan of Ariana's but come the fuck on Piers. She went home to be with her family, which to my mind is a perfectly reasonable thing to do in a situation like this. That's what I'd do and I'm a lot older than her.

Well, Piers, who is to say that she isn't planning on visiting them? Shut the fuck up.
I am no fan of Ariana's, but I can't imagine what she is feeling right now re-these people being at her concert and then getting hurt or killed. This situation is tough and I personally think she is handling it pretty great. She's paying for the victim's funerals, she's going to do the benefit concert. She still could visit the hospital patients...
There are tons of things to snark on her for (the doughnut incident comes to mind, her constant ponytails etc) but this tragic event, to me, is not one of them.

Every time you think Piers Morgan has scraped the bottom of being a disgusting human being, he proves that he's capable of sinking to an even lower level.

Ariana reacted in a very human way, go be with who and where is familiar and gather herself with what's familiar and safe, then gave a lovely heartfelt statement and it seems a promise to return and do what she does, entertain. Morgan just seeking reaction good bad or indifferent he has to justify a salary somehow, I've scraped nicer shit from my shoes. Apologies for language.
