Katherine either is one of those people who adopts their spouses political beliefs or she went full right-winger when she joined that freaky church. I wouldn't be surprised if Maria Shriver's political leanings changed when she joined that church, she's just savvy enough to stay quiet about them.

Maybe Chris will go full Kirk Cameron and only star from now on in Fundamentalist Christian movies, with a bandaid over his wedding ring so he never has to take it off, and his wife body-doubling the lead actress so he never has to kiss anyone else.

He was one of the weakest links in Magnificent Seven (although I actually liked that movie despite that). That was the movie where I realized how limited his range is.
But overall, he's a white guy with some box office success, so I think he probably still has a few million more chances left before he goes full Kirkles the Jerkles 2.0.

Are you serious? What is it with these evangelicals? Can’t be in a room alone with a woman? Too much temptation? Ugh. GMAFB

Because it is so much easier to blame a woman for their own moral weaknesses. And there are plenty, I mean plenty of men and woman who will support them. This is why men don't evolve. They don't have to.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he had some appearance of that for the public, while fooling around behind the scenes. He strikes me as a hypocrite.

Katherine definitely seems like a follower.

I think his star power is dimming. Of course Marvel movies are always going to make money, so he’s lucky he’s riding that train, but his other movies? That grand date-rape opus, Passengers, didn’t really perform, nor did the Jurassic World sequel, and what else is there? The Magnificent Seven? JEM?? Looking at his IMDb, he appears to be leaning in to his franchises: Guardians and LEGO, which have built-in audiences independent of Pratt, and a third Jurassic World which will certainly flop. I was just thinking about this. I'm sure that there have been others, but I can't think of someone who ascended so fast and fell so fast. Maybe Sam Worthington, but even with Worthington I feel that his star didn't get as bright as Pratt's was there for a short time. Like Pratt had the combination of The Lego Movie, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Jurassic World, and then he was in demand for every new big role but only for a really, short time. I guess the second Guardians of the Galaxy did good at the box office. Maybe it was just me though, but I feel like not only the box office but the critical reception was much weaker for it than the first. Of course, his other two franchises did even worse in their second installment. Of course, as you mentioned Passengers didn't do that well considering that at the time he and Jennifer Lawrence were supposed to be two of the biggest stars out there. (I know it didn't lose money, but I'm sure Sony expected better.) Even with Endgame, maybe it was just my audience, but Peter Quill barely got any reaction when he returned unlike when the other heroes returned where there was tons of clapping and yelling. Of course, as mentioned because he's a white male, he will still get plenty of chances even after Marvel stops making GotG movies, but it's just crazy how fast he rose and sank to me.

I think part of the problem is that his looks tanked pretty fast as well. I never got the hotness or the charm that other people did. He was supposed to be the new Han Solo mixed with lovable goofball character. He was a more attainable hunk, that was also funny and charming. That all went away pretty fast when he went back to his "dad bod" and kept it for Avengers IW/EG. They even mentioned it in IW. Plus the world found out he was a Jesus freak and pretty toolish. I think it was a lot of little stuff, and plus his follow up movie and sequels weren't any good. He hasn't stayed in the media doing funny and charming stuff like Hemsworth or Evans. He's not doing charitable things with his money like RDJ. He's not a teen hearthrob like Tom Holland. He's a pretty basic guy that just got lucky. He'll probably try a dramatic role (dying cancer patient or a biography of a historical figure) in an act of desperation to change the momentum of his career. He has plenty of money, and so does his new wife. Once the Marvel suits are done with him, he can retire and make movies with Kirk Cameron, or just build crosses in his backyard.

It should also be said that the new Jurassic movies are, in my opinion, terrible. Even with Jurassic World which seemed to get a pretty positive reception, I was shocked at how stupid, and weirdly sexist, it was when I finally saw it. I think that is more the director/screenwriter's fault than Pratt's (for all his faults, him showing up and doing his typical thing was not the movie's biggest crime) but nevertheless I can see why those movies didn't cement his career the way you would think.
