Another thing--he looks like someone thought, "young Danny Trejo/Charles Bronson" and cast him for novelty. I haven't seen him in action other than that Law & Order episode, but both Trejo and Bronson had a magnetism about them that I don't see in Driver.
ETA: DAMN, Danny Trejo is 70?

He's a male butterface. I took some enjoyment in seeing David Fincher totally diss him in those hacked Sony emails. Ooh! What did he say? I missed that part of the hack... David Fincher has a sly sense of humour!

ETA: DAMN, Danny Trejo is 70? I've only seen Adam Driver on Girls. If anyone on the show's regulars deserves attention (aside from Lena Dunham-duh) it should be him...and maybe the guy who plays Ray.

Yeah, they are both great. Adam has definitely grown on me since the first season, mainly because his character (along with Ray) seems to have the most sense.

He allegedly walked out of a Terry Gross interview when she played a clip of him acting and singing in A Marriage Story. He supposedly hates to watch or hear himself acting. What I learned on Twitter is that apparently a lot of people hate Terry Gross and think she's a terrible interviewer.
FWIW, I think he's a great actor. Mr. Ladybug thinks he's terrible. We really wanted to enjoy The Dead Don't Die, but we both fell asleep during it. I don't want to watch The Report, it looks like a homework assignment movie. He's really, really good in A Marriage Story.

I think he's a really good actor and I loved him in A Marriage Story, but walking out of an interview because she played a clip of him from the movie he was there promoting? He's got to get over himself with that shit.
I watched The Report. It's fine, but yes, a bit like homework.

Fresh Air says they encouraged him to take off his headphones before any clips were played so he wouldn't hear them, so it's not like they were forcing him to listen. And God knows there's always a long-ass introduction before any clips are played on that show, so it wouldn't have happened without warning.

He's really, really good in A Marriage Story. I generally like Terry Gross, but...it is apparently well-known that Adam Driver is not down with watching/listening to clips of himself, and yet they ran one anyway. In this scenario I don't blame him for walking out. You may think he's being overly-dramatic, but...he said he doesn't want to do that. Like, if you need a clip for your show, edit it in after he leaves. This isn't hard. He was good in A Marriage Story, though overall I didn't think the film what the phenomenon so many people seem to think it is.

I always have to chuckle when people get in a spat with NPR of all organizations. Diva! An actress would be crucified for that behavior. Yup and not just an actress either. John Boyega's been getting flayed alive on social media this week because he made some incredibly mild criticism of the last Star Wars movie (I believe the unforgiveable word he used was "iffy"). Meanwhile Driver has people on Twitter doing Olympic-level gymnastics to defend him. On the scale of celebrity fouls I don't really think the walkout is that big of a deal, but the difference is annoying.

Isn't it also not hard for him to remove his headphones for 60 seconds so he doesn't hear the clip? They gave him ample trigger warning. NPR is not known for being super hi-fi or having an unlimited budget - if they do their show live to tape, maybe they can't deviate. He sounds incredibly spoiled. My suspicion is that the clip thing was just an excuse to walk out of the interview because he's sick of promoting the movie.
