I just went digging around on the Wayback Machine for this awesome Tori article from the late, great Whatever-Dude site. It's dated, but still right on the money.

Although this belongs in the "Things-that-make-you-throw-up-in-your-mouth-a-little", I just read that her new wuv has her face tattooed on one arm (I actually saw that picture), and her "naked backside" on his other arm (there is a God, I've never seen that one). I wonder if he ever gets them mixed up.

ETA: Shame on me for not reading a few pages back. However, I don't think that her lovely ass was mentioned. BTW, by lovely ass, I'm not talking about Dean.

I watched the E! THS story and I admit that I did find her a bit more endearing than I thought I would. But I also got this feeling that she's pretty dumb. Like the story about Shannon Doherty. Doherty was such a close friend but when she left the show they stopped talking for 3 years even though Tori had nothing to do with it. Unless Shannon was the one who was not speaking, I didn't get that.

Tori seemed like she just wants to be liked and to have friends and people who love her so much that she will do anything to like them. Like with all of her bad relationships. They seemed to imply that they were abusive. And her brother seemed to imply that many of the guys were probably with Tori because of her dad and not because they liked her.

She just gives off this needy, insecure vibe in WAVES, man.

I thought Nick Savalas batted her around. Which is why they did the big "issue" thing with Ray Pruit on 90210.

I thought she seemed nice in her THS. But good lord. She's still so ugly. Those boobs have got to go. And I'm all for fake boobs...but not when they're hanging by your belly button.

Hee! That article is awesome.

Her father didn't help her get the job... because she auditioned under a "fake" name. That reminds of the time when I started working for my father's brokerage company. Since he is the owner of the company.. I didn't want to feel like nepotism was the reason I was being hired. The interview went something like this:

Dave: "Hello sir.. and good day. My name is William Perry. Here is my resume'. By the way, all of my friends call me "The Refrigerator".

Interviewer: "Haha.. That's pretty funny, Dave.

Dave: "Who is this Dave person you speak of? My name is William."

Interviewer: "Dave.. I've known you since you were four years old. Your Dad used to bring you into the office all of the time when you were younger. You're not fooling anybody with this act. Technically, this isn't even an interview... We're just here to discuss your starting salary, benefits and such. The job is already yours."

Dave: "Hey man.. I'm not here to cause no trouble. I'm just here to do the Super Bowl Shuffle."

I saw a commercial advertisement for her show. At first I thought I had stumbled upon a fairy tale episode, but seriously, it was really asinine. She has got to grow the heck UP! She's a woman who has just divorced and she's playing with a want and glittery stars are bouncing all over the place. She's no longer a little girl that can get away with that sort of thing.

The tidbits I've seen of her show make me think it's going to end up like "Fat Actress". There are enough funny tidbits to make for good promos and make it look somewhat promising, but actually watching a whole episode of the show is a different matter.

What pisses me off about this show is that I've been reading comments from Tori that are like, "See how I can make fun of myself?" and also comments from people saying the same things- "Oh, she's so cool, she can laugh at herself."

How long has this woman been famous for? Fifteen years? Up until she started peddaling this "reality " show, all she did was piss and moan about how mean people were to her and how she never used nepotism to get anywhere and blah blah. She is only able to "laugh at herself" now because she doesn't have any other work and nobody cares about her anymore, so she has become desperate and is resorting to self-parody. If she had a real job on a hit t.v. show she'd still be whinging about how hard it is to be picked on, and still insisting that daddy had nothing to do with her success.
