I like her. I just do. She seems nice and doesn't take herself too seriously. Her show looks funny. So I will definetely watch the first episode.

She is only able to "laugh at herself" now because she doesn't have any other work and nobody cares about her anymore, so she has become desperate and is resorting to self-parody

I don't see it that way. I've always gotten the vibe from her that she doesn't take herself too seriously, because she does seem to know what people think. She'd be stupid not to think what people think of her!

People think she's the product of nepotism, regardless of what she says. It's an image she can't run away from, the media mentions it all the time, probably ask her in interviews all the time, hence why you see her talking about it all the time. It's just this black cloud that is hanging over her, no matter what she does.

If she does well...it's because of her father, not her talent. She doesn't do well...it's all her fault and she's a whiner. lol. This girl just can't win with people because she is Aaron Spelling's daughter.

I see nothing wrong with her going..."Okay, FINE! You say I am the product of nepotism, so that's what I am. Now, watch me make fun of it."

From the interviews I've seen of her promoting this...on Vh1, of course...I never heard her mention that she's not the product of nepotism. She just says it's just a parody and she's having fun with her image. She's not taking herself so seriously...so why is everyone else taking her so seriously?

After all...she's the product of nepotism, right?

Well, ya know, Cletus left Shar for Bitty when Shar was pregnant and that relationship is a match made in heaven so maybe Tori can make it work too. Or not.

I don't think he's a prize either. We used to watch his wife's cooking show. She was a former model and far more attractive than Tori. Although she did have a mouth on her so perhaps she was mean at home. Who knows. Still, to leave your spouse when you have a newborn at home is just all levels of wrong.

And knowing what his wife looks like, I honestly can't see how he find Tori even remotely attractive.
(I have searched endlessly for online pics of his wife, Mary Jo Eustace, but so far no luck.)

Oh believe me, I think they deserve each other, and can't decide who I dislike more of the pair. I used to watch What's for Dinner as well, and LOVED Mary Jo. And she was a wisecracker, but certainly didn't strike me as a bitch.

Well, that was pretty much my point. Her current interviews are much nicer and much less whiny than her old ones, because she has a new show to sell and it is based on making fun of herself.

As for her getting her jobs through nepotism, it's not that I'm holding against her. Plenty of Hollywood players get where they are due to nepotism. What bothers me is that they can never admit it. If Tori had ever said, "Having a producer for a father was great, it really helped my career" that's all it would take to impress me. But she's never admitted it until now-when she's got something to sell so she can hang on to her falling star for another 15 minutes.

Those boobs are new, aren't they? I keep up with this thread but do not recall if there was any discussion of this. They look nothing like the 90210 days.

She does everything that she can to look "sexy"- fake long blonde hair, fake tan, fake knockers-yet she is still rather unfortunate looking. I kinda feel sorry for her for that- she can try and try but she will never be pretty.
