O/T Joe Biden came to a close friend's funeral in 2012 who died at the age of 46 and he could not have been kinder to my friend's parents. He spent a great amount of time with them and talked about the pain of losing a child and how it's something that stays with you. This was prior to his son Beau's passing so he was referring to the daughter he lost in the early 1970s. He also comforted my friend's young widow and talked extensively about his experience losing his young wife in that same accident with his daughter.

I loved The New Adventures of Old Christine. I'm also a fan of Veep.

Old Christine was just such a dork! Also, I loved Julia's chemistry with Wanda Sykes. I think this show was underrated. Keep meaning to watch Veep. Don't know why It's taken me so long. Julia (along with Jason Alexander) were my favorite Seinfeld characters. I loved that Elaine didn't much give a fuck . . . but then would somehow feel guilty about not giving a fuck . . . before finally going back to not giving a fuck again about whatever.

Elaine always saved the show for me. Even in the more annoying episodes, she was the bright spot/most watchable. It's been nice to see her continued success. Of course I also remember her from pre-Seinfeld days in that show Step by Step, and Lampoon's Christmas.
ETA: Not Step by Step... Day by Day! An underrated little show.
