I've not seen WW yet, and that scene made me cry. It's so refreshing to see a woman as THE HERO (and not super sexualized) in a movie. It didn't hit me until watching that scene how rare that is. Like the HERO. Not the sexy girl hero, but the Hero.

She also co-stars (and has actual things to do) in Criminal, with Gary Oldman, Tommy Lee Jones, and my Celebrity Husband Kevin Costner. It's not a bad way to wile away a snowy weekend day. |

Okay, I’m moving into girl crush territory with Gal. She posted an Instagram story of her at some fan con today doing pictures with fans. And the way she interacts with all these little girls dressed as Wonder Woman is truly lovely. And there was one teenage girl who looked super-nervous and like she was about to pee her pants in excitement, and after they took the picture and the staff was trying to get her to move along, Gal took a moment to really talk to the girl, and she just looked over the moon. Gal has got a really good feel for how important this character is to a lot of women/girls and seems to be handling it in just the right way.
