Saw this recently and was disappointed. The acting was fine, the costumes were lovely, but somehow the whole thing fell flat and was boring. Maybe if they'd chosen a different mystery it would have worked better. I will admit that this has always been one of my least favorite Agatha Christie book with fairly uninteresting characters and an annoying plotline.

The reference to the Nile was dumb—"There's been a murder on the Nile"? No, you idiots; the murder happens while Poirot is there in Egypt.
